Very Kraig Adams-esk. Sometimes it's best to let the mountains speak for themselves. These are my favorite kind of videos to make although most people who comment on my videos tend to enjoy a story or context. I like watching scenic backpacking videos like this though. Really well done.

Hey thanks Cameron! Yeah I definitely took some influence from Kraig Adams. I tried to incorporate more of the detail of the trail as well. I love doing this type of video when I’m on a solo trip. It’s more of a challenge to capture the mood when I’m with someone else or a group. But I love both types of trips which is great. Solo or together, each trip tells a different story.

Clint. I can't get the Black Crows song "Jealous again" out of my head. Great video of what appears to be a fantastic trip!

Your videos are cool! I found them searching for Haleakala hikes since I’ll be there in a few months. I’ve also been planning a Sawtooth backpacking trip for next year. Apparently I just copy all your trips!

Thank you! Go ahead copy away! That’s why I make these videos. You are going to love the hike in Haleakala! And then to do a trip to the Sawtooths too...great lineup of adventures!

Hey thanks man! I’m surprised you found this video! It hasn’t seen a lot of traction but the Sawtooths are so incredible! This was in early September before the first snow. It was just starting to get cold. Surprisingly enough I saw almost no mosquitos.
      Thanks for watching!
