  • If you are searching for Titanium & Pearl blend - metallic epoxy coating, then Epoxy Plus is the perfect place. Here you can find various types of epoxy coatings at reasonable prices. In the installation process, we show you how to custom blend Pearl pigment with a paddle and drill, and then apply both pigments on the floor (i.e. titanium and pearl). This is what makes a 100% designer floor. See the above video for more useful tips or visit us at www.epoxyplus.com

    I am wondering if the floor is super slippery? With the glossy finish, I would think it would have to be. If so, can you add any non slip additives to the paint?

    What is the pearl composed of?
    This is one of the best finishes I've seen. So natural

    Out of all YTs epoxy floor jobs I've looked at this one was almost painful to watch. The workers running into each other in that 8x10 room, paint being spread so unevenly with some big globs here and no epoxy at all there.
    At one point the narrator put my thoughts into words by saying 'it doesn't look very good at this point'.. perfect timing. I was ready to click elsewhere, but that stopped me. Good thing I guess because I would never have believed that things would turn out looking as good, but they pulled it off.
    I have to agree with another commenter on the super modern techno floor really not fitting in with that style of older home, possibly a warm wood grain would have fit in better. Still, a nice job done.

    Question: What are you painting the floor with before laying the epoxy?

    Looks great! What is the finished surface compared to? Does it feel like a polished cement? (Slippery when wet) or is there some texture to it? Thanks!

    Do this stuff naturally level out or does it have raised/uneven edges from the pour that need to be dealt with after application

    • @EpoxyPlus
      @EpoxyPlus  6 років тому +2

      Philip Seitz it’s pretty much self leveling but we do recommend passing over it with either a magic trowel or roller.

    It would be cool if you could use epoxy with ferro fluid or something magnetic in this, if you have access to the underside of the floor you could put up home made electro magnets or a donus shaped copper winding in the ceiling to make magnetic patterns in the epoxy. Hopefully , depending what outcome you want it might get a bit disolved in the end of the epoxy hardening if it will keep flowing on afterwards as I think they said in another video.

    If you were to do it in a basement, and the floor isn’t completely level in all spots, some high, some low, do you need to use some sort of self leveler first or how would you go about that?

    • @EpoxyPlus
      @EpoxyPlus  4 роки тому

      You want the floor as flat as possible. However, that is one of the reasons why we use black primer. If the epoxy becomes a bit thin in spots due to the floor being unlevel it doesn't show as much.

    This is absolutely gorgeous!!! I'm trying to decide on this combination or a green moss with pearl. Do you have any green and pearl videos? I'm doing a 3 car garage floor with my company logo in the center. I detail and ceramic coat high end cars for a living and would be happy to advertise your floor. Please get back to me as soon as possible as I need to get this done before my summer rush hits. Thanks.

    Regards
    From Colombia
    I would like to know if after drying do not throw any protective or protective film to protect the floor.
    To avoid rays what would be your care.
    What would be the type of maintenance to perform on the floor.
    What would be the products that can be used for such maintenance, and without water-based or additive would be better for maintenance.
    I ask all that because I have a company that runs projects of the same profile and here in Colombia this type of floor is very new, is it more I would like to know how you could import your products?
    Thank you

    I've sent emails two times through your website but still did not get any reply. The question is that do you have water based epoxies so that we can apply it flawlessly near the sea shore area?

    • @MegaAwaiz
      @MegaAwaiz 6 років тому

      Because near the sea shore area, we couldn't handle developing fish eyes generating even though taking all the precautions. What I believe is; that the only humidity was there which we could not control.
