Never understood the hate for this system. Sure its simple but sometimes, thats what i want to play plus ive always preferred the DC roster of characters.
Love this game so much. I’m excited to know that I am getting Justice League Dark for Christmas. The game has evolved from the simple game from 2012. Our favorite base sets are Dark Nights Metal and Heroes Unite. The original base is way unbalanced so I use some expansions to even out that experience. Just ordered Crisis Collection 1 to try out the cooperative experience but from what I’ve read also adds some great cards to add in to the competitive experience also. Curious what the next Kickstarter brings out. So glad I came back to this game after so many years of just having the base game. It’s a winner at our house for a great light game night that you can adjust the length by adjusting the number of nemesis cards.
Thanks for covering this one Zee, I am curious which versions have you played? I played the OG, heroes united, forever evil, teen titans and confrontation. But I only own the first 2.
@DiceTower will there be a marvel United multiverse hero/villain ranking video released soon? I loved the previous videos and I would love to see more content on the game
That would be Swamp Thing on the cover. Man-Thing is Marvel. And for the record, if you are saying I am, you don't need to hyphenate but if you are using it as an adjective to the word troll, you do hyphenate. :)
@@CamObscura88 Base games, or standalone expansions will not be coop yet. They do have expansions to make it coop. They are called crisis expansions, and they have 4 currently. These 4 crisis expansions match with each standalone or base game. Crisis expansion 1 goes with base game, crisis expansion 2 goes with heroes unite, etc.
@slyfox1775 I would argue with they have evolved, but very slowly. This would be, arguably, the best evolved version from the original. They dealt with the kick problem being superpower type, they dealt with the runaway problem you have by purchasing super villains with and be over the top powerful by changing to an immediate reward. They have built in ways to clear out weaknesses, and have evolved the weaknesses to be more relevant. At the end of the day though, that took like 6 base games to get here. And it doesn’t really change what you are doing. You still at the mercy of the lineup, you can still only buy cards that are there, the game arc doesn’t change since the first turn, which is you are still buying cards from the lineup too add to your deck. If you didn’t like base game, I would argue this won’t change your mind. Crisis expansion, or DC deck building rebirth would probably interest you more. They have changed the flow of the game and what you are doing.
@@CamObscura88I forget about rebirth. That is a coop version, but it is a different game. Crisis takes what you are doing here, and makes it cooperative with a few tweaks. Rebirth takes basic ideas from DC deck building, and plays an entirely different game.

Is Flashpoint crossover the best one to combine with JLD?

Man Thing … lol that’s Marvel silly. The funny part is I could see accidentally calling Man thing. Swamp thing being more familiar name in my opinion.

Never cared for this system vs marvel legendary . Just watching the video to see if it evolved beyond the first game I bought so long ago .
I really wish it was just coop. Competitive in this format makes no sense to me.

Attack on Titan is a coop game that uses this system
