I know you need it to be competitive with everyone else but it's really gotten out of hand and out of reach for the everyday angler which in turn has really turned me away from tournament fishing. Hard to grow the sport when you have to be a rich man to get started. Cracks me up with the local tournament guys that have all this stuff to win a $500 tournament....

How many times have you blown up a spot in your life with a trolling motor? How many times have you been nose first dirt shallow and had to pull the trolling motor up to get out? Probably more times than either one of us could count. 😂
The first time you go to use those brakes, you’re going to be like, “yeah that is a good feature.” 😂

This is getting so out of control lol Imagine if you have all of this new tech and 6 screens and transducers pointing in every direction and still can't get on them. It's gonna be so frustrating lol I mean I love bass fishing and I love my boat but at a certain point it's just too much lol
You don’t need it to catch fish! But I choose to use every tool available!
@@MattBeckerFishing I totally get it! I think on the professional level anglers should utilize every bit of technology available to help them catch more fish and get more checks! I think the only issue is you'll see this same trend in entry level events. The day's of the 18 year old kid in a 16ft tin rig showing up and doing well for an entire season and then getting some sponsor attention are all but gone.

I don’t like how the speaker fills up with water and splashes me when running!
I've had one for 5 years. Since I got a livescope, I've seen with my own eyes it didn't do chit to the fish.. I actually noticed it scared them away sometimes. I've never seen it help me, and that's the truth. And yes, it does fill up with water and blows out going down the lake also. 😂

And they wonder why folks want tech regulations for tournament anglers… it’s because they will keep pushing the envelope past the point of no return. I’m for it, I enjoy livescope & new things. But it’s like they want pros boats to be different from the average tournament anglers boat. I know it’s not their fault it’s inflation but I’ve now just about given up to keep up with the trend or the newest latest cuz it’s too much, too fast & cost too damn much. Maybe it will condense down in time as bigger screens give way to less units, maybe soon power poles w/ trolling motor brakes in a smaller package comes out, maybe the handheld livescope becomes refined it gets less cluttered less expensive.
Just shows u folks push the envelope for tech but don’t push the envelope to allow co anglers to bring their own portable version. It’s unfair, too much too fast & it could be real bad for the industry let alone the fish
I appreciate your opinion! I totally understand, but what I run on my boat does not effect you and your boat, and or your ability to go have fun and catch some bass!
I'm not a hater of FFS but that's just too much. I would want to deal with working around all those units. I've heard tons of good things about Suzuki, I've looked into repowering my boat with one.

I’m sorry but all that stuff on there is getting to the point of ridiculousness I have a newer Skeeter, FXR and I fish tournaments. There’s no way I would spend all that money. I don’t know why all your anglers just don’t get together and make your own guidelines on how much stuff you can use if the tournament organizations won’t do it
It’s definitely not for everybody but it’s my boat and I choose to use it all to my advantage!
