I am really hoping the next album has some more experimental tracks, cuz some of Reaching into Infinity’s songs has some serious bangers, like this one.
You know their received alot backslash because the route this album take ? Thats why they go back to safe route in next album and many said it awesome album. Im in minority who prefer reaching into infinity more.
@@Rngalmcfc Same here. I do appreciate them going back to the roots, but it all sounded like lesser versions of their older songs. What I personally think they’re missing is those long epic intros and long epic bridges before the solos to let the listener sink in before the song continues. That’s what Extreme Power Metal is missing to me, and it makes them all blend together because of that.
I'm probably not in the majority, but this song is my pick for the best they've ever done. I'm more than cool with the experimentation, I think they could seek out chaotic ideas and just fucking go for it for an album and maybe land a masterpiece. Edge of the World was the first and only time DF had the creativity and my personal preferred amount of cheesiness in a single song. Just feels like a perfect blend to me. Oh right, this a cover . . . uh . . . this cover also slaps. Tone wise the harsh vocals section really fits the section and the solo tone is probably the thing you're best at, not to mention the guitarwork itself is always top notch from the duck dude :)
@@HalfDuck In my opinion, what cements a Dragonforce song as truly legendary is if the chorus takes you to a higher dimension. Through the Fire and the Flames, My Spirit Will Go On, and Operation Ground and Pound have such legendary choruses, and so does THE LAST JOURNEY! But they have so many other incredible ones as well!
Man this cover is freaking epic ASF and practically perfect. I started playing guitar recently and DragonForce are one of my idols . I wish to be this good, but I don't think my hands are good for lead stuff lol the fast chuggy rhythm parts hell yes 😂, I love trying to do lots of rhythm stuff lately. Who knows maybe my hands will develop over time , DragonForce solos are on awholenother of fuckery lol

Great playing and impressive turnaround time on this one! Amazing song, Reaching is a polarizing album but I liked the departure they took with it and all the interesting elements Fred brought in. Plus I don't think we're getting another non-Sam album ever again lol
