Thank you for giving us/me more riffs to learn! My top 5 in no particular order: One, Psycho, Californication, Phobia, American Idiot! I hope your show goes well tonight - have fun. I wish I could be there :)
I loved the mixture of songs you did spanning lots of genres from metal to rock to punk pop as well! Glad to see you also love Muse and Green Day too! 😍 ❤️ Admiring all the uploads that you do Jassy and glad to still be mentioned in your credits too!
I love that you included Skillet in this list as I am a huge fan of them. I'm a fan of what's now called classic rock and metal (80's-90's) so it was also nice to see some of those included as well.
You've done it again Jassy! 😉 Cream, Kinks, Stones - it's another trip down memory lane. Lovely selection and mix of new and old rock/metal. Have fun on stage! 🤘🤘🤘
Awesome riff list Jassy, it was great to see the premiere live with everyone. Every riff was great but always nice to see a Green Day riff in there as it's one of my favourite bands. Good luck with the gigs this weekend as well 😀🤘🎵🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ah, nostalgia. Sunshine of your Love was one of the first things I ever learned, except I didn't know about scale positions then, so I just learned it on one string haha. Excellent list. You always choose really inspiring stuff for these beginner lists, and it's great to hear so many different styles. Something fun for everyone. Loved hearing Muse. Probably my second favourite riff here after Phobia, of course, which sounded huge! Perfect tones as always despite the software struggles. Nice to see the JEM again. It's sounding awesome! Have a wonderful weekend at the shows. \m/
Haha! My 1st. ones was "Wild Thing" by the Troggs, then some Beatles & The Who stuff. And, of course, "Smoke On The Water" 😂 later then "Over The Hills And Far Away" by Led Zeppelin. I've extra bought a 12-string for it later. 🎸
The magnificent classics of the riffs, so that such sophistication came off the assembly line of your music studio, not a little effort were spent on this. The sounding and performance of riffs is definitely fantastic. No one around with that sound and that cable of creating such tuneful virtuoso playing. Lovely technique with incredible ease of hand movement and awesome dancing fingers. I can't find the right words to fully describe the quality of your performance. Absolutely outstanding game. Thank you very much🎸🎸🎸
What a great 15 easy rock and metal riffs to play video, man! I really liked it! I wish you could upload a guns and roses cover or best gnr riffs for the next video on youtube!
Thank you for this great riff list and also many thanks to the cameraman always focussing on the right spot! 👍🤘🏻 One was one of the first songs I have had learned and indeed it´s not to difficult apart from the really fast part at the end. Next song to learn --> Phobia 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Great job at all these songs!! recognize many songs or simulare songs from when I was still being thought by a teacher. Definitely anyone starting out can learn these and will be very helpful to grow.🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Such a nice riff list. Great choices especially Phobia ;) the mix turned out great. Hope you got the presets recovered from the crash ? Keep on the great work ☺️
I couldn't help but wonder how many of those riffs are older than you. :D I think 'Sunshine of Your Love' is for sure. I also really like the way that guitar looks. Is the blue floral pattern on the fingerboard an inlay? Ibanez guitars have always seemed very playable to me. Maybe you should see if they would give you some sort of sponsorship since you already advertise for them in so many videos. Might be good to hit up your amp company too.
Great job on the covers...Love the old school genre, anything from the 1960's and the 1970's. Checkout Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes-- Journey to center of the mind. Stevie Ray Vaughn Pride and Joy. Don't know if those two songs fall under easy to play but they are fun to play. All-in-all nice set. Have great rest of your week. Hope to catch you next time. Been extremely busy these past few months. My girlfriend and I just bought a house and I am fixing it up. We have 5 acres of land. now I don't have to worry about disturbing the neighbor's playing music on my guitar. Stay Safe, Stay Sweet, Keep on Smiling and as always Keep on rockin'!!
Schön, Du kannst ja auch classic rock. Congratulations for your moodful performance in combination with your technical abilities. What kind of backing tracks are you using?
Hey Jassy, those were some awesome choices I always look forward to one of your videos or live streams, I hope you have a safe trip and a great show, very much love and respect stay safe rock on, and thank you for always being the wonderful talented person that you are. 💚💜🖤😊
Best 5 Albuns Of all time 1- Blood Sugar Sex Magik (RHCP) 2- Freak Out (Frank Zappa) 3- The Smiths (The Smiths) 4- Meat Is Murder (The Smiths) 5- Tranquility Base (Arctic Monkeys)
Awesome! Could you cover Scorpion's always somewhere, Gamma Ray's Heaven Can wait, and Helloween's future world and Megadeth's Symphony of destruction?
A request, rhythm guitar line for Ride the Lightning!! You are so amazing! I love the Wide array of bands you cover!! Keep it up! Will you be doing another collaboration with Sonja A! That was awesome!
From the point of view of a punter/listener, I firmly believe less is more. The most iconic riffs of all time are very simple. If you're trying to come up with the killer riff, use as few notes as possible! This was also an opportunity to catch up on gaps in my collection - I fave now acquired PSYCHO and THE HELL SONG! I would quote this jazz musician's gag - A jazz maestro plays 10,000 notes and there's 10 in the audience - a rock maestro plays 10 notes and there's 10,000 in the audience! To touch the soul of the audience, you only need to string together that magical handful of notes in the right order.
It's funny that when I tried to learn Californication I tried to play both the bass guitar melody along with the guitar melody. The mesh I came up with kind of / sort of worked! Lol
Byuh byuh mantap.. awesome.. love RHCP Californication.. thanks btw.. would u please check Californication covered by Alip Ba Ta, Indonesian soulful fingerstyle guitarist, incredible.. His cover of Linkin Park 'Numb' is also pretty awesome 👍❤️😘🇮🇩
