Lumiere Durham 2023 - Britain's biggest festival of lights

Lumiere Durham 2023 is the eighth edition of the biennial festival of lights that was first held in 2009.
Taking place in Durham City and Bishop Auckland, both in County Durham. the 2023 Lumiere festival is from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th November.
Tickets are required to access core areas of peninsula Durham City, including Market Square and Palace Green by Durham Cathedral, from 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm each day of the popular light festival.
More than 40 light installations will be displayed as part of the Durham Lumiere event in 2023, including artworks by AI Weiwei and Rafael Lozano-Hemmer.
