If I am using a torch instead of an enlarger, how long do I have to expose multigrade rc paper to the light source for?
Which of your photo chemicals would recommend for developing photograms?

would you reccomend the ilford simplicity starter set ?
Hi Lara - I'd recommend using the Multigrade Developer. ILFOSTOP, and Rapid Fixer. You can get these in 500ml bottles.

@@Ilfordphoto thanks for the help! (sorry to be annoying , would it be a complete waste of time using the starter set to develop photogram onto paper? ..I have one already open)
1. Делаем фотограмму
2. Фотобумага чувствительна к свету

8. Затем на несколько минут оставьте бумагу в поддоне с фиксатором.
9. Затем промойте в чистой воде

You can make photograms with almost any light source. it just takes longer with a light that isn't as bright.
why do my photograms turn out really white and bright? (not the background, that's dark) i just mean, the objects are really white and you can't exactly tell what they are? please reply soon i have photography 🙏🙏
It’s a year too late, but…
It’s because the objects are thick and/or made of material that the light can’t get through. (Like metal scissors, etc.)

How many time from enlarger for expose ? Please answer my question.
As a rough guide around 10 seconds for a photogram should be fine with the lens set at f8

How much of each solution would you need to develop say 10 photograms similar to that ? ( I don't want to waste chemicals and do too much ;)
also is a thermometer necessary?
@@laraansell4591 Hi Lara This depends on the size of your trays and paper. We recommend that you use enough solution to cover the paper in the trays. The info about the capacity of each chemical can be found on the technical data sheets e.g. www.ilfordphoto.com/amfile/file/download/file/1828/product/709/

sorry for another question - is it necessary to use a sheet of glass between the photographic paper and the object ?
How long should be the paper in the developer?
1 to 2 minutes for RC paper 😁
