I agree. I grew up with the big boys of the late sixties. When Mike arrived in the ring it was incredible. In my opinion absolutely no way that anyone could have beat him.
Exactly...I just don't see it... Mike looked like shit from the first bell of that Buster Douglas fight....and Buster looked like a golden era HW that night.
I remember this fight vividly!! Tyson was so amazing to watch especially when he just annihilated his opponents. I saw his first fight all the way up until Douglas knocked him out. Most of his fights were on your basic TV, especially ESPN when they actually cared about every sport. If you went to the fridge or bathroom, all of a sudden, BOOM, the fight was over!!

@@michealjaymurphy Larry Holmes is one of the best EVER...he went on to beat Ray Mercer YEARS after the Mike loss. Jesse Ferguson lost to Mike and YEARS later beat Ray Mercer twice...mind you Ray Mercer was a gold medalist and gave Lewis one of his hardest fights...
