Can Picafort is in the north of the island and as such is a part we don't get to very often.
In this video we walk along the promenade.

Thankyou for showing us Can Picafort. I laughed at the waves. When in Port de Soller in May a huge wave came in and knocked me off my feet, much to the hilarity of my daughter and son in law!! Bit of a shock I have to say. It was my last dip before heading home as well. Looking forward to seeing Playa de Muro in a video soon.
Port de Soller is usually so calm, but the sea can get lively. The event will become one of those "do you remember when" moments.

You don't usually get big wave in Port de Soller. The wind has to be in a particular direction.
I enjoyed a holiday with my daughter at this location in a Thompson hotel we had a lovely time and we went to alcudia best wishes janet

He conocido C'an Picafort virgen, solo unas picas casitas de planta baja de familias de Muro, Santa Margarita, que veraneaban en esta playa.
Añis después vi construir álgunos hoteles, como el Hotel Alomar.

Never made it to Can Picafort in May as was staying in Palma, but went to Alcudia & Pollensa. Thanks for showing me Can Picafort, it looks very pretty! Beach looks very busy, all those people in the sea & I couldn't see one lifeguard!
It was very busy. We saw lifeguards along the beach. There was a yellow flag flying.

@@DaisyHenderson-ky2lu Friday is market day in Can Picafort. This is the bus company website. www.tib.org/en/inici If you scroll down you can choose where to start and where you want to go. It is cheaper to tap on and tap off with a debit/credit card.

Spent a day in Can Picafort when we holidayed I Alcudia. Just as I remember it x

lovely to see that you're enjoying your retirement :-) i went to can picafort once for a day out once and enjoyed strolling around and having the odd pint ;-) my favourite place is still puerto pollensa, i'll be going there in october. take care and thanks for the great videos! 🙂
We like Puerto Pollensa and plan to make a trip up there in September/October.
@@SteveandAnitainMallorca hope to bump into you there! i'm going on the 3rd october-10th. i can recommend a lovely mallorcian restaurant, called celler la parra, great food and great prices, its between the 2 eroskis, but usually you have to book as its so popular (closed mondays)
Love Can Picafort. We were there from 22 july until last week. Booked again for next year. noticed a lot of shops/bars closed that we used to go to which is a shame and market was nowhere near as big as it used to be. Been going to the area for 25yrs.
We missed the market on this trip. We'll have to go again when we are back.
We have been there for 15 years ago. We love the market on friday. You got to try it

Hi. Coming over to Santa Ponsa on Friday the 14th. Is it still meant to be mega hot by then or cooling down again? I've stocked up on lots of factor 50!
It is very hot now, but should be better by the weekend.
Stayed here 2006 I loved it here but prefer Alcudia 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

It should have dropped a lot by then, around 25-30ºC
