The Case for Entomophagy | Allison Bajada | TEDxVillanovaU

Despite its taboo nature in the West, the practice of entomophagy, or eating insects, is an important cultural practice for more than 2 billion people worldwide. In her captivating talk, "The Case for Entomophagy", Allison Bajada details humanity's history with edible insects and lays out critical reasons why we as a society and as individuals should adopt the custom. Allison Bajada is a second-year Presidential Scholar studying both psychology and philosophy at Villanova University. Allison is a long-time public speaker and has given two TEDxVillanovaU talks. She is proud to be a talk show host and business director at Villanova's radio station, WXVU. She is a mother to a pair of red-eared slider turtles named Hobbes and Locke, who both share her belief that eating insects is a great idea.
