People just undercut the extra procs. Same thing happened in TBC and WotLK. Arcanite bars for example are cheaper than arcane crystals.
i have yet to get an arcanite bar proc, and i typically get 12 elixirs out of 10 crafted. The proc rate is low and terrible for me.
The market is too saturated with product for it to be profitable currently. You can gamble on getting insane procs but everything is just cheaper than the mats.
there is only one recipe which is profitable. everything else is useless
