What A Great Tutorial about Barre chords… I practiced what You told us to, now I am almost convinced myself that I can do it. Almost gave up barre chords altogether, Thank You again Vasco. I am going to follow Your advice Vasco, Practice Daily, 🤙🏼🤙🏼😊 and log unto my daily journal 🤙🏼🤙🏼💯💯💯💯💯
Vasko... i need a tutorial for wicked game how you played it. It is one of the most beautiful songs i heard on Ukulele yet. You played it amazing. I could play it but it is to hard without a tutorial. The things that are not in the tabs make it so beautiful.
I’ve noticed that a lot of ukulele and guitar players seem to have the same super flexible thumb that you have. I was thinking about that when I watched another of your videos so it’s cool to hear you mentioning it as well. My thumb is short and stubby and not very flexible. :(
Hi, Vasko. Terrific tutorial. I have very average sized hands and I'm working with a tenor uke. I can do all the exercises except one: I'm struggling to reach my ring finger to the G string for the exercise at 17:48 in the video. Even if I just omit the bar on the fifth fret and try to build the chord by starting with just my middle finger on the E string and my ring finger on the G string, the C string is muted unless I push my wrist out, and that prevents me from making the bar on the fifth fret. Is this a chord shape that is used often??? Thanks for any insight you can provide. Kind regards, Ila from California.
I’ve been working on barre chords for quite a while now. All of your tips are good advice. Currently I am struggling with 2-4-3-3 as a moveable chord shape. When I focus on the G string my A string is muted by lifted pressure. When I focus on the A string, the G string mutes.

Well even if I’m not actually loving bar chords by now you’ve helped me hate them a lot less - great video and many thanks for posting

This was so helpful for me! Thank you!
Really helpful thanks. Also I thought that phalanges were just the whole finger so I’ve learned something extra. :)
