At 13:20 does switching from Generate to Custom Edit remove the "instanced" nature of the distributed objects (trees)? We lose the parametrization but is our scene still optimized with instances after the distribution is baked? Also, I take it that this is not reversible, correct?
Forest pack looks great but I'm just not sure about Rail clone. Seems like it would only be useful in certain situations and I could do the same stuff by hand in the same amount of time.
Shouldn't this work with Arnold now, also? Ive installed the latest version of FP (6.3.1.616), and when I apply one of the preset library models to a flat plane, it shows up in the viewport, but not in the Arnold Render. (Using 3DsMax 2021)
Hi! Me neither! I downloaded the pack yesterday and could sort of access it then, but today i cannot. I think the problem might be based on the computer itself. Have you managed to solve it?
Thank you but i found only the redirect link to Ciro website and no available link to download the scene itself unfortunately.. Or maybe i misunderstood that the scene must be purchased..
They forget to add in these FP promotions that only a couple of assets are free, not many at all and the ones that are free are a bit crap. Check the prices if you want any other assets lol
Forest pack is amazing but there’s a bad thing for the users I’ve recently downloaded the software and I was trying it when I wanted to but the grass it was with no materials because It’s limited but I didn’t even used it I was only checking the software this is very annoying please try to fix this thing😢😢😢😢😢
Hi, thanks for the feedback, It might be necessary to add the location of the provided Maps to your system directories. The first time you create a new Forest pack this would happen automatically, but if you opened a scene without ever having created a new FP item that step might have been omitted. If that doesn't help, please drop us an email to helpdesk@itoosoft.com and we'll help get it all working.

Hi - custom edit mode retains all of the instancing capabilitities of the plugin so you can use it without any concerns. Thanks for the question.

@@ZAKarchitects On the top left, next to the video (on desktop) there is a link that says Tutorial Files. That should be what you need.
