VEGETABLE LANDING AREA BULUA in Cagayan de Oro

Vegetable delivery from the growers around Cagayan de Oro City, Northern Mindanao, Philippines, to the city was moved some time ago from the Agora area in barangay Lapasan to the public market at the westbound bus terminal in barangay Bulua.
This market is very busy and shows an impressive turnover of fresh vegetables.
We were in the thick of it with our camera among the vendors, traders, workers, and market-goers. At the heart of the market are the eateries. They are very busy around lunchtime. It makes you hungry to see all the delicious dishes on offer. This is also the place for the market visitor to take a rest from all the impressions with a hot or cold drink.

The visit to the vegetable landing area was again a market visit of a special kind. That's because it's really lively here and the people here are just great. We were also able to buy durable vegetables for home at a reasonable price. This included 10 kg of potatoes and 2 kg of calamansi. I don't remember the quantities of cabbage, peppers and other things.
