So fun to watch your faces as Tom sings...the goosebumps, for sure, & so glad you were so mesmerized you couldn't interrupt the song. I'm so in love with this young man's talent, it makes me SUPER HAPPY!!!!
You only get the buzzer, and only one group buzzer for the season. He got that buzzer for the Sound of Silence, and when he came back he did Creep. He has all of us here in the US, going crazy. You have to hear his "I who have nothing" by Tom Jones. One of our critics here just listened to that, and I waited for the look on their face when he hit the last note of the song. It was off the charts. I think a lot of us women here love him so much cause its like he woo's the audience into an ecstatic ending... to be more proper about it. This man can be one of the greatest ever!!! He compared himself to possibly Michael Ball. I listened to him, and thought Tom was so much better, the way he puts his own spin on a song. Thank you~
@Kari Hi Kari, the next Live chat will be next Sunday. We will always try and post an update in the Community chat on YT and post in Patreon also. Have a great weekend.
Yes he was great and inspiring....however, there is no way to choose who is better when one is singing and one is on a trapeze.....This show is not totally fare.....however the fact that Tom did not win does not take away from his future.....He already sang at the Palladium. With Michael Ball I might add...and he will do great things. I cannot wait. I know the winner will also go to great places from his win as well. That is the whole point of this program in the end.......
@@wisehiker I don't know who Michael Ball is. He is good, I'm not taking away from that. Aidan taught himself in his back yard from UA-cam videos how to do what he does. It was really close with him and the winner of his season. Tom is very good but the songs he chooses other people have done.. Extremely well.. And people remember that and think of them instead of him.
He's got an excellent voice, and I do like him a lot. And he's definitely got the range and the 'belting' chops, too. You can't fault him, really. Lovely job! I feel a bit mean now though, because I can't NOT mention that I don't think you can beat Brian Justin Crum's version. He was awesome. Sorry, Tom!
@BritPopsReact oh, I'm not taking anything away from Tom at all. I think he has an amazing voice. I'd like to see him try something that's switched up a bit, though. Really make it his own, you know? He's more than capable. Like I said, I really like Tom!
@@tundiel Every piece of your comments is pretty offensive and disparaging, and smacks of a spoiled and selfish superiority issue. Do you really think you have something important to say, or are you just being an asshole to make yourself feel special?
Tom does a very good job but he fails in comparison to Brian Justin Crum’s version. Tom would have done better to have changed his version up. His was too similar to Brian’s. Btw, Brian also sang this on AGT a few years back and viewers still remember Brain singing this so song choice may have hurt Tom. Tom did a very good job!
Same with his Sound of Silence. All I could think of was Ptx's version of it. And you're right. Brian's was better. It was similar but Brian did it better.
@@pglover64 did you see Brian do Your Song on the first champions? If not you have to look it up. It is unbelievable. Chills from when he opens his mouth. That was my favorite performance of his and I loved them all. Except Man in the Mirror. That was a little strange.
No, he doesn't (it was a very by the books, and rather monotone version. Still nice, but very much usual and predictable and flat). And if you can't recognize the differences, then don't announce it to the world and admit yourself the tone deaf fool. Loved Crum's version for what it was (a very personal and internal cover close to the original). But Crum's professional Broadway training and skill (playing to an audience as a paid performer), and not his entire heart, were on full display that night, and in the far too many versions after where he was pitching or theater roles and publicity.
Wonderful voice. However, I'm going to get a 'hammering' 🔨 for this. Wrong song choice. He sings "Creep" *too well!* His voice is *too good.* "Creep" is about a person who's (almost?) a social pariah, almost stalking, a "perfect' person. The 'creep' *feels* _far_ from special. The quality of Tom's voice is dissonant with meaning of the song. Superb voice, wrong song. 🤔 He sounds technically 'perfect', effortless, professional. That isn't what the song requires. Best Wishes, Chaps. ☮ G-Man-😎 Maybe try _The Warning - Creep Radiohead Pau Cover_ (4m) 'The Warning' channel. It's Pau (drummer) accompanying herself on piano. Desperation, pathos, feeling rejection. *Pau* "gets it". Hear her triumph at the end! 😂
Creep was originally sung by self-entitled, lifeless, xenophobic assholes who are okay with slaughter of innocents in other countries as long as they get paid. But, guess what, one person (aka you) doesn't get to decide the meaning of a song. Because once it's in the world it belongs to the listener and the singer. Just because a vision doesn't connect with you personally (because you've decided, perhaps, that someone who can actually sing doesn't understand pain or feeling like an outsider, for some short-sighted and idiotic ignorance of human emotion), doesn't mean it's wrong, "chap." Step outside of yourself and your own desire for everything to be what you personally want or thin someone isn't worthy because you like something better (aka, stop reacting like a privileged twat), or don't bother speaking. Maybe try being a decent human being.
Best version ever. Tom will be huge.

Tom does a good job with this tune, well done Mr Browse. :)

Sie haben recht, es ist sensationell !!!!!
🇩🇪♥️♥️♥️♥️
Highly recommended watching Brian Justin Crum sing this version. He did it years ago and in my opinion, untouchable
Please react on all 3 songs he sang at the BGT 2022
His eyebrows 😅 his voice is bigger and better most definitely 😊
Are we doing live chat tomorrow or next weekend?

@@BritPopsReact I thought I may have missed it somehow.
You should do the winner of this one. He came in 2nd in his regular year and was totally self taught.
