DMC V - Boxing with Cavaliere (Balrog Only, No Damage)

This boss is just too fun to parry! Honestly, he's my favorite non-Vergil boss in the game simply because of how interactable he is. The parry system in this game feels SO GOOD, and I just know that is the result of TONS of testing and polish. This game is a masterpiece.
Anyway, in this video I wanted to test myself to stylishly and quickly kill him using only 1 weapon, and while not relying on Real Impact too much. I used nearly every move in the weapon's repertoire, I believe. I'm quite happy with this one (even if the end is less than stunning).

can someone explain to me why Dante boxes southpaw? It seems he's righthanded given how he holds his swords. I know it's capcom and he's also doing shoryuken but i'm confused about his stance. Jabbing with your dominant and crossing with your rear non-dominant hand isn't usual. You CAN do it but why?

I always thought of Dante being ambidextrous and he just favors his right hand. But, there is a slightly similar situation with his guns Ebony and Ivory while in Gunslinger. Ivory shots are short, rapid fire bursts while with Ebony it's single fire with more power behind it.

@@Kizur13 I haven't payed that much attention to his guns yet but even so, I can bet he's ambidextrous too but he'd still should be in an orthodox stance then instead of a southpaw. It's just unusual.

@@kohakusora7474 there may not be a lore reason. It could be that's how his mo-cap actor boxes, if he does box or if it's actually him for the whole of Balrog's moveset.
