I bet they’re so happy with the beady eye decision. I would actually freak out (in a good way) if I commissioned someone for a character with glasses and got the beady eyes in return.
the kirby flappy bird is destroying me HAHAHAHA your determination really paid off! I love the glasses reflection, it looks so good and, what? you just taught me how to put a quick base color without relying on existing textures, without me seeking out the knowledge?? thanks!! I hope I can put it to use soon 🙏

absolutely love this hahah!! came across ur stuff on tiktok recently and i love ur style sm it's so cute ;-; also love seeing ppls 3d work process its so validating, blender can be so tough sometimes lol
Thank you for this video! I have been trying to convince myself to start learning so i can make my own vtuber model and hardly any other video creators on this subject have talked about the ordeal in the way i needed to hear other than you, so thank you! I encourage you to make more videos like this. Your format and the way you explain and talk about things is excellent.
aww thank you! i agree with you, a lot of people just make it so simple and most of the time dont explain what thing does what. so i hope with my future videos to cover it more and continue being helpful! hehe as well as i hope that you will start your own journey! i bet it will be amazing
That's a banger flappy bird game you made 😂 I also did not know how compatible some shader nodes are when transfering the model from blender to unity. I only use a principled bsdf and an image texture node for most projects. So I was surprised to see you use the color ramp and texture coordinate node here. Interesting video!
this video is a life saver omg I've tried making a vtuber model at least a dozen times in blender. I struggled a lot with the UVs and rigging and shape keys and this helped clear some things up
I use vrchat for my vtube model, since i already make vrchat avatars, and if any 3D person is looking for commissions, vrchat avi making is not a well known thing outside, but is in high demand and go for around $200 - £800, pluss you can have props and other fun toggles! :D Ur style looks nice ^-^
My first 2 tablets were cheap Chinese ones with heavy pens powered by batteries, and they both broke within a year of use. My next tablet was a Wacom Intuos 4, and it has worked perfectly for over a decade. Same with its pen. With Wacom, you pay for quality, longevity, and ease of use. ^^
Yeah I still have my bamboo fun (small) and I've had it since 2004. Still works, but I retired it to keep it as a reserve. I bought a wacom one tablet. Not a screen tablet. I just don't want to go back to having my hand obscure my art while I make it. It cost 500nok/50usd at the time. Still works now, 5 years later.
I've actually been so keen to learn 3D and blender but have always felt intimidated by it... even though this video wasn't a tutorial or anything, I actually feel like it helped a lot! I feel super inspired by your work, keep it up!! :]
this honestly helps me a lot I’m new to blender and just straight away used sculpting tool it looked weird but also I thought it looked decent for my first time the sausage fingers were absolutely horrendous and I had no idea how to make eyes
No way that you draw with that tablet! My dad bought a really similar one for me like 4 years ago, Don't remember the price right now. I used it once, maybe twice, but figured if I wanted to do art longtime as a hobby I'd need something better. Somehow didn't figure that meant I'd need to cut the budget on having a decent pc,, Anyway, Love your work!!
7:10 IDK why, but hands are the only things I can draw, so when I hear someone say “Hands are so hard in art,” I immediately think in my head “NO THEY AREN’T,” despite me knowing that it’s only easy for me. This ain’t relevant to the video, I just feel the need to say this.
question why the fuck is the background an optical illusion and why does it look wibbly when I am not paying attention but every time I stare at the lines they are all straight am I having a stroke please help thanks
Great! Time to store this knowledge in a spot where i’ll never user it
