Sheringham Level Crossing 'Making a Start'.wmv

My plans to film the initial first steps of the Sheringham Level Crossing project were scuppered by an untimely spell of wintry weather. Five days later very little snow was in evidence as a road crane arrived to lift out the buffer stop and to help relocate a number of concrete sleepers. These would be required for the track laying programme planned for the forthcoming weekend.

Very interesting film Thanks for posting! - Couldn't six of those chaps lift the sleepers and put them on the flatbed? Seems a bit OTT to use such a huge crane. LOL
