You'll get better blade life and straighter cuts when milling softwood if you add a bit of dish soap to the water in the lubrication system. Prevents pitch build up. Husqvarna has a vegetable-based bar oil that works well too.
For the price.. it looks really great! Would get one instantly if I had a bandsaw. But I run a Logosol chainsaw mill with a 661. Would like to have something similar there.
@@Projectoftheday I have no eletricity where I am milling. I suppose the version for the F2 and F2+ was for the electric chainsaw and drive? If if works for the manual drive.. I have an order to make :-)

Normally run with a pitch prevention spray on the bands which prevents it from building up. Works really well.
Awesome equipment sir.
Acts like a skid, nice
You did a great job on this video
Good test
The pic you sent earlier was epic.
Big rock!
Glad you liked it
Is there a Logosol rep out west?
I am in Utah
I don’t think so, but check Logosol homepage
Bound to help clear the path of the blade.
Yes absolutely
could it fit on other bandsaws
it should absolutely work as long as the blade guard is strong enough

When I was at logosol last time, they showed a similar one for f2 and f2+, so will come a little later

I think it will work on chainsaw to, it’s mounted on the bar top steering and I think it’s the same in electric and gas saw
@@Projectoftheday If you chat with the Logosol guys - tell them to get a move on :-)
Haha will do
