Fired him and looked for another replacement .He always gave up a lot of runs and caused Giants to lose games.
I’ve been saying we need to replace this guy, he had 1 good year and everyone sung his praises and now it’s the complete opposite.
I was at this game and what an amazing win especially scoring 9 runs in ONE INNING?! UNBELIEVABLE I would never expect that 3:27!!!! What a great way to win on Father’s Day!! I am so impressed that you all had it today and such a relief the Angels did not sweep us!! Have a safe trip to Chicago to play the Cubs for tomorrow’s game 6/17 and hope we can win some more!! And this is EXACTLY why you shouldn't follow the blowout "unwritten rule". Honestly, endings like these make me think that being a reliever is a dream job. You get a very decent paycheck, not comparable to the ones superstars get but still, you get called up every once in a while, and if you turn out to be a scared pussy like Doval everyones fine with it basically, just not your day.
