Well done! I never realized how much I needed a label maker until I bought one. As much as I loved my aging Dymo model, the D600 is such a huge upgrade and I'm tempted to re-label everything that isn't nailed down. :D
For what you did you don't need to spend money for that unit. I bought a Brother PT 65 label maker like 15 years ago. One of the best buys ever. I still use it today. Solid company. The labels can be had easily.
@@geekanoids Nice video! Is it possible to pinpoint the name of locations as I'm based on the UK and struggling to find a similar drawer to fit those box?
Ziplock bags are great, well made, inexpensive and good for more then freezer bags and other food uses. Wife ends up getting some coupon and sale scheme and buys boxes of them.
Sounds great to start the year getting more organized. I'm goi G to rise to that challenge and get more organized too. Have an amazing first day of 2019, Andreas 🇸🇪
Happy New Year mate :-) I've got a few cable and 'computer bits' drawers that are a proper tangled mess so I might do something like this - you've inspired me! As a matter of interest, where did you get the long storage containers from?
I went through the unit's user's manual and it seems it cannot print QR codes by itself. You can print QR codes if you connect it to your PC or Mac using the USB cable and utilize the Brother P-touch Editor software to manually insert QR codes and print them.
If you have a list of labels to do, do them all at the same time with a space in between, and then print. You can then cut in between the labels - thereby saving tape. That’s what I do.

I've been procastinating 3d printing organizers for so long. they take stupid long to print (15 hours) so I'm thinking of just buying some xD
Definitely worthwhile.
Thanks for the video. It's ok to throw away stuff sometimes 😅
🤓👍🏻
Do you have links to those boxes - particularly those flat long boxes
Sorry, no links, they were from The Range in the UK.

Definitely handy 🤓👍🏻
Can u please do a video on how not to waste so much tape on both ends when printing.
Best to contact Brother Support. There are some settings that can be changed.
Can you reduce the margins? seems to leave large margins (label is more than twice the size of the text)
You can get them a bit smaller.

Thanks so much Andreas … Happy New Year :D
Dude, did you make the music for this video? It’s great, and a good job getting sorted!
Many thanks RIchard. Music is from UA-cam Audio Library. Happy New Year :D

They are from The Range in the UK.
can you make the label size larger
Yes, but limited to the max width label available.
Can you generate barcode with this?
Sorry I am not sure. Best check with Brother Support.
Can you add a company logo to these labels?
I am not sure. Sorry. Best to ask Brother Support.
@@geekanoids they weren't much help but I've found out you can and it's relatively simple.
Nice item.... I could also make very good use of it ... have a great 2019! Cheers...
Thanks so much Chris, Happy New Year 🎉
Hi, may I know does this model support print QR code?
Sorry I am not sure.

Really cool machine, too big for me but it is a nice thing to have.
Cheers Darren. I enjoyed making this one.
HNY2019!
Same to you. Have an amazing 2019 🎉
You are sure wasting a lot of tape on your labels
Thanks for watching. I have now adjusted this.
A lot of waste at beginning and end of the text
You can adjust the amount of waste if required.
If you have a list of labels to do, do them all at the same time with a space in between, and then print. You can then cut in between the labels - thereby saving tape. That’s what I do.
This is adjustable.
Thanks for the tip.
I just got this device. How can I adjust this?
