I just noticed this, but looks like most sirens in the county have two-way antennas unlike this one. I love 435Hz ngl. That echo on the wind up and wind down is sick!
Fun Fact: the tone the logic board is supposed to output is 450hz. There is a bug in the firmware that occurs during a silent test and causes the tone to drop to 435hz and gives that “popping” noise every second or so. Additionally, a power cycle of the logic board corrects the issue. But since OKC silent test every day they will never be 450hz lol.
The ESC-2020 1st gen is actually supposed to be 455 Hz. 450 is a misnomer. As we all know, the SI-TEST glitch drops the tones down by 30 Hz. So the 560 Hz ESC-2020 goes down to 530 Hz and the 455 hz ESC-2020 drops down to 435 Hz.
It might be intentional because on my installed siren near Hathaway Park, The sound reflector moves fast for a split second, Then moves normally, Since the sound moves fast, Probably that's why.

Yeah 435 is awesome, and the echoes are even cooler in person since there’s skyscrapers all around it.
Awesome! Whelen DTMF tones are weirdly satisfying
Yeah ikr

During the second ascension it doesn't make the popping noise for my installed siren.
Amazing! Whelens sound so cool and eerie!
That is why Whelens are some of my favorite sirens
@@brodiessirenproductions Whelens are also some of my favorite sirens!

Not as eerie as the tornado sirens when both of them activate at the same time. (I’m talking about the ASC T128/135 and the 2001s.)
idk how but this reminds me of SONGS
Epic my G!
Thanks!
435hz?
