Try to prefill the kite before launching. Way smother and lesser risk of hurting yourself or even worse 2500$ kite.😅
Use the back zip and hold it torwards the wind until the kite is filled. I have used this method for 3years with out any mishaps.

Yes the Flysurfer Sonic is a great kite. Personally I don't like foil kites but they are great for racing and for the hang time.
