I like this. It takes stuff that was probably just chosen for superficial reasons such as animation, or ascetic, and makes something interesting, and can give some nice background as to how humanity was so easily whipped off the face of the planet.
If the Eliot manor resembels a British Victorian era mansion, then the arhitectural style of the 31st century might be focused on creating revitalised versions of (by then) ancient arhitecture, like how neo-classical buildings immitate aincient greek/roman arhitecture.

Humanity probably neglected military and dedicated themselves to research
Older computers barely have any memory, the absolute solver likely physically cannot host on such a limited device, considering that it can barely function on a worker drone, which is capable of completely replicated sentience.
Did you know hard drives and sdds will lose their programs in them in a few years. But VHS will lose their programs after a few thousand years. So maybe it’s so they do not want the data to be lost.

You have a point, but if technology didn't advanced and they didn't even invent drones. Than how the f do they travel through space? And if the soler is a really advanced AI it wouldn't have had any problem disabling or even using humanity's weapons, if they were operated with compatible technology.
In the previous solver theory, we talked about it. Space travel was invented first and they found the solver at copper 9 where they made the church (or they made contact there). Also I personally don't classify the solver as AI but Alien. It's not clear exactly what it's reach is but I don't think it could disable multiple weapons across the world at once because it usually needs to be close by to mess with technology.
@@CakeTheThird If it controls an army of drones it could definitely get close. Humanity having no weapons i just to absurd if you think about it, destruction is in our nature peace like that is more than unrealistic. If no one has weapons, than one of the colonies sooner or lather would start developing them and than they could just charge insanely high taxers on the others, who can this way ensure their own safety. You see where i'm going.
@bodo3868 well it doesn't exactly control an army. Solver shards are manipulated and work as "Drones" more than soldiers. A disassembly drone doesn't have powers or skills beyond their main murder function. Only the solver host has powers an can act directly as the solver. While we still need more info on the humans that's the best guess we have. All other weapons in the show were ether antiques or custome rail guns by Uzi. The scientists didn't even have weapons beyond the Dingos. We can only speculate about the other colonies but if everyone had what they needed then there's no point in wars. Liam copies ideas a lot so I wonder if he was going for a society like in the Matrix before the robot problem.

Weird theory around this one: what about if this technology was put in ther because it isn't digital is more like annalogic like that weird Windows xp thingies at cabin fever labs cuz the solver i think that its infection way is more like digital infecting, by that way to more advanced technology like idk phones, holo-thingies, or any other thing that would be like very futuristic like the drones themselfs, cuz of that the humans whould try to find a way to stop it from getting the sistems and that would be the annalogic computers just like the ones of the church lab.
