I worked at an Aprilia dealership for years out Of Swansea Ma. Was always impressed with the build Quality and components on Aprilia top of line . They were top of line bike , expensive $$$, totally Italian style.

1:29 to avoid that on the ice is why you deflate your tires on winter test rides

Had one of these, really awesome bike! It was a great do it all machine. They're a bit old and rare now, but the internet has a ton of information on how to work on them, and they have a loyal following.

Personally I find that aprilias age better looks wise than other sports bikes.

Reason why I bought a 2003 Aprilia RSV MILLE last may 👌🏾 people think it’s a 2007 or newer all the time 😂

I have the same bike same color, that throttle body needs synced and the injection sonic cleaned. Af1 racing will do that easy for cheap. This bike is a beast and keeps up with inlines very easy. This is a modern classic

I bought a new 2001.5 Aprilia Falco, it was blue and I should’ve never sold it 😕
    Loved that bike!

I've just bought one of these and came here to find out what you and your commentors think and hopefully learn a little. The only v twin I've ridden was a V50 Moto Guzzi - awful bike.
The Falco is something else, very exciting, torquey and completely different to the inline fours I'm used to.
It doesn't have race cans but does have both mirrors.

I test rode one of these when they were new.The dealership that had it was in a part of town where I used to live so I knew all of the backroads to take it out on. It was so powerful going up a 10 percent grade hill.

Hi madgardener (like gardening or not?) Bought one in November last year. 2001 built, 37.000 km, new tyres, liquids and so on. Superbike handlebar and small indicators. That`s it. Looking forward, will be delivered early Feb. this year. All the best to you, have lots of fun and stay always above. Greetings from the east of Hamburg, Germany.

Looking completely stock except frame sliders and axle sliders. And SL Carbon cans - these are mandatory, stock cans lose 6 HP on crank and weight a ton more. I simply love this bike, I use it as a track bike since it kicked me off and broke 10 of my bones. The chassis is great and so is front brake. Rear shock is inadequate, I replaced it with fully adjustable Sachs unit off of a Mille ME. Some videos about mine on my youtube profile page.

I had one in yellow as my first bike. You can feel the pulsing in the clutch, each piston firing. You become one with the bike, you feel everything. I got bad cramps in my legs though, pretty small bike. Otherwise a fantastic machine

Snow and ice do not mix well with high horsepower superbikes. Great skill riding over that patch, I only saw a hint of wheelspin! As an aside, I would love a video of you recreating the 500cc rippers drag racing in the snow!

it is. Specially when remapped, these bikes have a huge potential that wasn't fully unleashed in stock form due to emission regulations.

Yes a bit like that but 60 degree not 90 with small balance Shaft in rear head designed by Rotax. Flater sound than a Ducati no as exciting but beautiful yes.

Yall ever seen one of the ducs from the matrix. If you haven't seen the UA-cam of Keanu's about his bikes he has one. Btw another sweet bike. After watching u guys for about a year now , its like watching a fuckin unicorn hunter. The 1st few times its like omg I can't belive he has one of those. Im almost numb now , with a combination of jealously, awe, nostalgia, and the want to hug u in a very unmanly way. This may sound weird but I want to smell ur shop so bad. Going to the motorcycle dealerships as a kid every weekend...that smell like no other thats one of the things I miss the most.
