She is also triggering her birds mating instinct by the way she is petting him. Birds have friend zones and mate only zones. Head and neck is friend zone anywhere else is for mates.
Absolutely brilliant! Well done to everyone! I absolutely love watching Bondi Vet and always have. I’ve wanted to be a veterinarian since I was 3, I’m now 22 and a vet nurse in training with plans to still eventually go on to be a veterinarian…watching Bondi Vet only just makes me more and more excited about helping animals. Dr Chris I hope one day I get the absolute pleasure to meet you and your team in person.
This woman was stroking that bird all over his back and under his wings! She was stimulating him. As a bird owner that should be the minimum thing youd know not to do
The family love him so much however please make sure he is either crated or limited in his recovery. It might sound cruel but it’ll be best in the long run. Good luck
I have scleromyxoderma...and degenerative disc disease...Bones starting to dissolve and I go from training horsees...teaching riding ..to a mobility scooter.. I hope whatever you do can help
the goldie breaks my heart my tri color cavalier 6yo has major surgery on his back legs after his surgery and the Arthritis his gone from playing like a puppy to a old man who will play for 5-10 mins he gets sore worst is the winter
It’s heartbreaking to see this golden retriever suffering so much, get pet insurance so you can afford to see a vet asap not wait till it’s almost too late, make sure to feed the proper diet, keep them well groomed, that a responsible pet owner!!
I don't know how they've just let him go like this ..I couldn't not for a minute..infact I'm going to start saving money for an emergency with my precious boy my cat
that first dog , Diesel, was really overweight. I'm pretty sure that would not be helping his joints at all! I wonder why the dr didn't mention that to them??
Docteur Chris Brown vous êtes le plus beau vétérinaire de toute l'Australie. The second dog eating 3 chicken carcasses for dinner.. omg. Yeah, fresh meat and veggies are very healthy and can be added to meals, and if you have the time and money a veterinary nutritionist can help formulate a balanced only fresh food diet, but chicken carcasses alone - not nutritionally balanced. The dog's surely going to suffer deficiencies on that diet. Not to mention the volume of food is far too much. That dog is overweight.
Glad that the owners of Diesel had the opportunity to appear on the show because the dog is only 2 and has a problem leg . Surgery costs a lot. I hope they kept him quiet for 6-8 weeks. The golden now looks like a lab, haha. Glad he lost weight, keep it up.
ok but is anyone else getting a whiff of lawsuit material in that first case? the er vets [the first guys that saw them, not our bondi boys] didnt say it was something they couldnt fix, IT WAS THAT SOMETHING *WENT WRONG* SOMETHING WENT WRONG IN THE SURGERY AND NOW HIS JOINT IS IN THE WRONG PLACE? THAT DOES **NOT** SOUND LIKE AN UNAVOIDABLE RISK. IT SOUNDS LIKE THEY MESSED UP BIG TIME. if these people have the money, i may suggest getting some more professional opinions and getting a lawyer.
@hopeadler507 1. girl how am i supposed to know that i stumbled onto this in my reccomendations 2. ...so??????? aren't people outside of america more crazy than americans about pets??? i'd think they'd have more of a case than here for this, and if you can't sue for animal malpractice then, like, thats something wrong with your justice system. i cant tell if this is australia or britain since the show seems to flip-flop between the two so i dont even know what justice system they're working with.
Why in the world would you give a dog chicken carcasses? Chicken bones a big big no no. Hasn't that lady ever heard that? 🤔 Or does she live in the Stone Age?
OMG!! They've been watching their dog for a year in that condition? These are the kind of people who have no business owning a pet. Who gives their pets chicken carcasses that are nothing but bones??? What planet are these people from? I cannot believe the vet didn't say a word about giving her dog chicken bones?!!
when I googled if they could have raw chicken bones, most answers were yes, and one was no. I don't blame the owner because the answers to that question are varied.
@@christinekillen3852google is often wrong when it comes to pet safety, please always ask your local vet clinic if something is safe or not (you can call and ask). Chicken bones are definitely a big no no even raw
Not really. Feeding them a RAW diet is way more healthier and also depends on the breed. Raw bones don't do this as often as you think, compared to cooked bones. It just depends on the dog.
Why in the name of. St. Francis do people in these vids feed animals bony chicken?!!??! BTW, they also have frequent paralysis tick bites. Don't they sell flea and tick chewables in Australia? I even give them to indoor cats. Please respond, thank you!😽
I was also wondering about the amount of tick bites. Are flea and tick preventatives not as common there? I'm sure they can't run commercials for them in Australia but in the US you always get reminders seeing those ads.
People just don't realize how dangerous bones are for dogs , they should not have them at all. They splinter apart inside their intestines inside the gut and everywhere else and they can bleed internally and they can die.
Why wait that long? You people allowed him to progress in his excruciating pain and disease and his suffering instead of getting him the help for what!? You shouldn't have him...
I’m sure agreeing to be filmed on programmes like these helps a bit financially. Thank goodness!
Why has it taken so long to sort this beautiful dog out.
Because not all vets have the same experience or empathy.I grew up with 4 dogs...cats..a horse..Some were intellectual but hard..Im from Sydney

It might have been to financial issues as part of it vets can be expensive, especially with something that's needs tests or operations
I think Diesel’s had a miracle. Thank you Bondi vets.

Thank God for Andrew
Nice to see they clipped him as well make him feel cooler. Coat will grow back
But unfortuanely if you clip a retriever he doesnt get his coat back the way it was. I think he loses his undercoat
The swimming is really good that's probably helping him a lot too
what a beautiful family 💝
She is also triggering her birds mating instinct by the way she is petting him. Birds have friend zones and mate only zones. Head and neck is friend zone anywhere else is for mates.
The way that Chris looks when she pulls everything out to show what she feeds him is funny.
Kissing on the beak is mate behaviour also.
It's like a claw machine except for they're getting bits of chicken neck instead of a cuddly stuffed animal.
That's one way to look at it! 😂
One very cheeky bird your very good Chris can see why the people plus animals know you care about them also Lisa your very sweet

Seeing Diesel happy and running made me cry 😭
I hope you told the lady no more chicken carcass or any other bones so it won't happen again
Uncooked bones generally will be chewed and dissolved by stomach acid. But I don’t think I would risk it myself.
That’s exactly what I was thinking no chicken bones please 🙏
The family love him so much however please make sure he is either crated or limited in his recovery. It might sound cruel but it’ll be best in the long run. Good luck

A year to get that dog help poor thing x
Happy he got the help he deserved ❤
I’m glad they made the Labrador Diesel lose weight. That would help enormously.
that first dog , Diesel, was really overweight. I'm pretty sure that would not be helping his joints at all! I wonder why the dr didn't mention that to them??
Maybe he gained weight as a result of not running around as much after the injury? You can see he looks normal later.
I wanna know why they thought that shaving a golden is a good idea 🥲🫠🫠🫠🫠 congratulations you have successfully ruined the dog’s coat

Harry is a plucker and that is actually quite common in parrots.
i feel like they should've given the parrot a girlfriend after seperation treatment rather than medicine XD he needed a little lady bird

Please don't feed any *domesticated* animal anything with bones, thorns, thin spikes 😅
No chicken bones at least, our dogs have never been given chicken bones. They get the big bones

Shaving his coat was cruel.
I thought you weren’t supposed to give chicken bones to dogs?
NEVER GIVE CHICKEN BOʻNES TO DOGS ! !😮
the reading online is quite split on that.
If they’re uncooked they are not as dangerous. She says in the video they were not cooked.
You're not
Cooked bones are bad for dogs but you can give raw sense they break off in chunks and not splinter like with cooked

Diesel needs a haircut and lose weight otherwise it can reoccur again
Diesel needs to grow his hair back after he got shaved....Can permenatnly destroy their beufitul coat by shaving a double coated dog like that.
You let the dog suffer for a year before helping him
