I recently ran the adventure Chris Perkins mentioned, The Scourge of Scalabar (Dungeon #74) as a Spelljammer adventure based out of the Rock of Bral for my livestreamed campaign, and it worked very well!
Very interesting to see the origins of the 1st player's handbook artwork. Very classic art, and I am glad that they ultimately used that piece.
Very glad to see the Giff's comeback, and hope it will be just a taste of the whole Spelljammer Campaign setting comeback.
However I would have preferred to see the Giff depicted as per the very first "Lorebook of the Void" description, with " colorful tattoos that leave their bodies a patchwork record of past victories" and "elaborate suits of armor" with "full helms with other monsters on the crests, inlaid with ivory and bone along the large plates", instead of khaki military uniforms.
So...WotC...
Can we get a new spelljammer book?
It would be really cool and I'd buy two or three copies.
I felt that way for a long time. Unfortunately after seeing the way they ruined Ravenloft, I'm not so sure I want it right now..

I wonder if the King Killer Star is related to these kinds of stars like Hadar and Agathys in anyway

Great talk on the star spawn, except that you kept mentioning the foulspawn (a.k.a. the ushemoi) and I still have no idea why.
Well now, I know. There will apparently be star spawn hulks, manglers and seers. So yeah, ushemoi/foulspawn are now star spawn. :-/
