Hi Lisa - I love that you talk to your models while you work your magic. So many makeup artist channels either do a voiceover or it seems like they don’t want the model to talk. I love learning about the person, no matter their background and the questions you ask are great. Great job!

Thank you for having her on as between you, you both raised my biggest issues having brown skin myself, the shades of foundation out there for deeper shades are always far too yellow, yours matched perfectly! Thank you for addressing this major issue when you were developing your foundation shades! I absolutely loved the gold on her eyes and again I would be far too intimidated to wear gold on my eyes but you made it look flawless! And also thank you for addressing the fact that us women of colour do have different colour lips, something that I've been so self conscious about my whole life. And I would like to say that I have finally bought your velvet lipsticks and not only are the colours spot on but the formula is so lightweight, moisturising and completely covers the unevenness in my lip colour! I don’t wear lipstick too often but I do have 3 of yours, and I had watched a video that the beautiful Martina Lily who is an Australian Contant creator on UA-cam, did a full face of Lisa Eldridge make up and used your lipsticks for blush and I had forgotten that you have also said that you use it that way and I tried it and loved it!

That’s so true about skin tone. I’m Irish with a very neutral pale skin tone (porcelain sort of name), and used to work with a Nigerian girl who was very probably foundation called something like espresso. However, there was a deal at work to get our colours done and we were both the same (Deep Winter or something) and it made sense as we used to wear similar lipstick and clothes colours.
It is just so amazing to see you work on other faces every time Lisa! Thank you so much for always giving us these wonderful videos! I'm always learning from how you apply makeup on other people, and how immaculately you complete a face

I injured my eye several days ago, which left me helpless, lying in the dark with my sunglasses on, thinking what to do while I wait for my eye to heal.
