Since Oct 7th, my heart is in Israel and visited in Dec/Jan 2024 as ADONAI compelled me by His love....prayed for IDF SOLDIERS on train and bus platforms such a privilege.....Remember the Battle is ADONAI'S and HE is never defeated. Truly, I could not stay away... since Oct 7th, my whole world turned upside down...being in the Land brought me to the Land of my fathers....my first time to Israel. I was honored to remind the broken people that I met that ADONAI had not forgotten them, and victory was assured because HE IS THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL. Praying for soldiers for their protection and encouragement and thanking them in person was beyond a privilege. I had come in War because HE sent me to tell them victory is assured and they are not alone. The Ruach Hakodesh had directed me to be a gentle rain. I pray I accomplished His call. The song is beautiful and so is the message. I don't think he should have canceled the Bar Mitzvah trip completely. It should have been replaced with a mission to Israel. My son's Bar Mitzvah trip was to Israel - we came to see you and as a result of that trip you ended up performing at our Shul! I met Rabbi Kaufman and his parents on a previous trip to Israel - and was on a Mentors Mission with his father several years ago.
the point was that he used the money to help purchase tefillin. I don't think that was enough money to get him to Israel. but thanks for the comment :)
