It'd be hilarious to see Jim make a one time only unannounced appearance where he comes out during one of Olivier's matches (preferably a title match even though he's not currently the champ) and cost him a big win. After he does, he picks up a mic and simply says "Fuck you, Olivier, you piece of shit!" Then drop the mic and walk away, never coming back to explain himself. It'd be epic.

Tony Khan recreates the events leading up to Cornette's ECW appearance for no reason at all, and Cornette is shocked and confused the entire time.

I think the absolute best way for Jim to have his last swing of the tennis racket is to run in on MJF vs Hangman (preferably in Hangman's hometown) and slogging Hangman with the tennis racket giving MJF the win and belt.

The story here in the video is that it was originally a shoot, and I think Omega would be okay with letting him take one for the team to be part of that amazing moment in modern wrestling history. I just don't think it would ring right if it were CM Punk, Bryan, or someone he likes.

Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing him and Mark Henry interact. I remember Mark Henry being upset with the comments made by Cornette while he was working for the NWA. Anyone with knowledge of that backstory would be instantly hooked.

I’d love to see Jim on national television again be it commentary, hitting someone with the racket, guest GM, or just verbally obliterating someone on the stick. No matter what happens though: he won’t die happy, or truly move on from the wrestling business unless he gets to piss on shitstain’s grave. Granted: Jim might be in a wheelchair by the time that becomes a probability, but I would happily pay money to see that happen though!
I liked Jim's last run in Impact, I only watched NWA Powerrr because of him, This current climate I don't think he would be welcome and he is better off not being in it

If I may be honest, as a kid I always thought the racket shots looked fake as fuck. Like at worst they might sting mildly. Just about all my friends thought the same. As a foreign object we ranked it just under Sherrie's purse cuz she at least might have had a brick in there (and I think did once).

I think it would be awesome if that fool pockets was brought in to a show as an act of goodwill only for him to be jumped by FTR. Then when it's clear pockets can't defend himself, the original midnight express theme hits and Corny belts one more homerun for his legacy.
I think Terminus would be a great fit for Jim Cornette, the promotion created by Gresham and Baron Black, and they say it will be modern day grappling wrestling that they want to do, and to top it off they will hold their first event next year
