Thank you for all the wonderful information that you share with us, Jonah So I thought that you had a slight preference for the white lights (especially considering what you said that you can see issues easier on the plants and the light is not as annoying) but then at 6:26 you said:” For most things purple lights are going to be better. They are going to be more efficient and get higher yields” What did you mean by that? I am confused now. Which lights should I get? 😊
Simply put either will work well! At my farm we used specific wavelengths without other colors which added to the efficiency, but with the barrens they don't have the customize option for that. So they are both fairly similar in yields with very minor differences. I'd purchase whichever you prefer!
Awesome video! I see you have 3 rows of lights, is that correct? I installed 4 rows of the Barrina pinkish white lights because they did not have the reflectors. Will my microgreens wilt under led?
so i purchased your course and these are on the supply list as wel, but what are the best alternatives for europeans, as these dont ship to europe.. struggling for hours now which ones are the best bang for buck. doesnt seem much content out there for europeans.. please advise me :)
You can buy similar lights from the same company on amazon. They are 2' instead of 4' so you'd need 6 per level: www.amazon.co.uk/Barrina-Indoor-Spectrum-Greenhouse-Linkable/dp/B0BRX4HKYM/ref=sr_1_5?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.BHyWJUndbt0Snk2Z5EfUn9FrZiJI26V9jpXTYQ03kLArfbwbZJxFQPNQpJWTeYWoS_Njn81AnV5JRZb5Ljc4xVnhCJ3EZpit56XWywPD4HHiHHIewGg3SuFvhXjP2ffvShuYtCVbEIqLJZ3opR_y6H8Ins5LEKjL398cKW8JUOOUeevGbGwjhUHQvE0Q4i-KCX_zrNI3iDhxUc9E5HZOnwW6INiDZZl4h94fpdGyVf4BlSbxni4UbTD6fzL07A-PVBF_haPynHoRAgFLX3rOhFSQkWyUxMqe8pd99yWtiyM._Qts2KhRR3FFY8rqBCS-mAyC0frBjHNHXd-4WAn4xaA&dib_tag=se&keywords=barrina+led+grow&qid=1717798015&sr=8-5
I see you have a large black tray that is holding your other 1020 trays, do you have a link for that tray? I assume you bottom water all those 1020 trays at the same time using that larger tray. Do I have that right? Very cool!
Yes, that is the plan! I am setting up an automatic watering system, but its not functional just yet. They are 2x4' flood tables. You should be able to buy them at most hydroponic stores.
We're planning to start early release shipments next month but supply will be very limited. If interested feel free to email us and we can add you to the early release list :)
T5 and T8 also are sold as LED grow lights. I am trialing Barina 4 foot T8s, 1 per shelf and Im not sure if I need 2 lights. Broccoli, especially, is much shorter on the ends of the trays and great toward the center. Based on other sources that I have been watching, with T5 LED grow lights, you need 2 or 3. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks! @@microgreensconsulting
There are so so many led grow lights now it would be difficult to comapre them all. But the Barrina Leds are by far the best least expensice option I've found and they work wonderfully for microgreens!
For marijuana I feel full spectrum is the best way to go but I'm brand new to micro greens and I'm so incredibly excited for this journey with micros
Excited to have you join the microgreens community :)

3 lights is the sweet spot! I would try reducing down to 3 lights for 4 trays and you should get great results!
Great video! The link above for the lights is the blurple ones. Do you have a link for the white ones? Thanks!

The Radish looks fantastic! What was your seeding rate for that?
24 grams with the little green seeding machine :)
When will the seeding tool be available for people to buy?

Best place to purchase micro green equipment?
@@77FINNBEAR Links for equipment are in the description of most videos and in our growing guide on our website!
Are you using T5 or T8 lights? Is one or the other preferable?
They aren't either T5 or T8 as those are types of flourescent lights. These are LEDs :)

Highly recommend 3 lights per 4 trays (1 shelf). This will provide you will the highest yields and best quality microgreens!@@56patdale
I wonder what would happen if you ran two of the white lights on the outside and one blurple light in the center and vice versa
It would be an quite similar to both
Are these the T5 or T8 Barrina white lights?
They are T8 sized
