Love you Harland, love your podcast, and judging by the recent guests, love that it's taking off because you deserve it. You're a legend and a top-tier comedic brain guy. So thanks, and congrats, and good to see you making a splash. You know that's right.
Harland had quickly become one of my absolute favorite hosts and guests on podcasts. His style, vocabulary, tone, weirdness, and comedic timing is just too god damn funny.. Keep it up Harland, I'll be watching every time 🙌
When they fire that popper in Andy Dicks face and he yells what the fuck because he’s blind and has no idea what even happened. I died laughing. Such a good movie!
Wow. This was incredibly touching. The bond is real. The way you stood your ground and gave the middle finger to everyone for Dane was amazing. I know it meant alot to him and every bit of it what you said was 100% true. Kudos Harland you fkn rock
Dane Cook is done apologizing, and Employee of the Month is still funny! Harland really has the oddest, most sincere and funnest conversations of any podcast.
Really enjoyed this and really loved the conversation about Dane no longer apologizing. People who aren't into comedy don't understand how comedians work to get success. They're rarely ever handed it on a whim. If a comedian blows up, it's usually because they've been working hard for YEARS behind the main Hollywood scenes.
I've been rewatching them since they came out, I'm OG 💪lol I don't think. I can listen to a bit or CD for that matter without doing it along with him 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I was a hardcore fan. Dane cook, fight club, and mafukin boondock saint's
Every show gets better, brother Harland! Dane Cook is hilarious. Funny story- My cousin and I met Andy Dick one night in New Orleans. We were on Bourbon St. ordering drinks at Old Absinthe House. Andy was sitting on a stool by the door with two shirtless guys, one on either side of him. We stopped to say hello on the way out, and all Andy kept saying over and over was, "Ask me where my secret is." When we finally asked him where it was, he yelled, "My secret is in my pants!" After an awkward silence for a few seconds, we all bursted out laughing. Then he slammed his drink, stood up, hooked arms with the two guys, and left the bar without saying another word. It was simultaneously one of the weirdest and funniest things I've experienced in the French Quarter. That guy is batshit crazy, but hilarious. You should have him on!
This was, by far, Harland’s best interview… Dane did a great job with the back and fourths. Learned some very interesting stuff! Also, huge fan of Employee of the Month! I think Dane nailed it. I’m 27 and that is one my favorite “bad” movies! Plus, 06’ Jessica Simpson… meeeow
Employee of the Month is mine and my oldest step-daughter’s favorite movie to watch together. It was one of the first pg-13 movies I let her watch and she loved it as much as I do. We watch it at least once a month…for the last 4 years. Absolute classic…they don’t make them like that anymore.
Love your show, Harland! So happy to have found it! And, love all your support for Dane, who my family and I thought was one of the funniest guys! Gonna rewatch Employee of the Month this weekend! Thanks guys and keep it up! 👍🏼
I grew up with this guy and I can't believe I'm just discovering this. I hope you are all jealous because I get to watch every episode for the first time!! Absolutely amazing 👏
Harland is my favorite, I met him at the Vegas airport for an early flight. He was so kind and it just made me more of a fan. I can’t stop watching all the Harland Highway episodes ❤. Even this one I wasn’t sure if I liked Dane cook… (no reason) but now I found a respect for him. Bravo Harland you are the best host and keep up the great work ❤
This was a very positive episode. Listened(ing) to it while touching up some paintings and drawing some characters and the stories were perfect for getting into a good workflow. Good to see Dane Cook being positive and happy these days (haven't kept up on him). Love ya Uncle Harland Williams, I want one of your shirts (I'll trade you)
I've started binging Harland's Highway and immediately noticed the shift from his normal funny and playful attitude with comics to this real version of himself with Dane. You can tell they are truly friends and then once they get into it about Dane's grind in LA it all made sense. I was in high school when both these guys were blowing up and Dane's albums were legendary at that time. It is strange he hasn't had the respect that other huge comics have and I'm glad it's finally coming back around for both of these greats. Keep it up!
People always think I'm crazy when I say that Employee of the month is one of my favourite films, but I don't care what they think, what's not to love about that film, great cast, great laughs and a nice little story, I've watch it at least a couple of times a year every year since it came out. Last watched it about 2 months ago, and now after seeing this its making me want to watch it again this weekend! Haha Love you both, more pods together please
Old woman here. Harland, I've loved your comedy for WAY LONGER than I'm willing to admit, you're a legend & love to Dane, too. Tell me fellas....how come you didn't age, but I did?
Dane Cook was the standup comic that made me fall in love with comedy. such a great guy and so sad how his brother screwed him over. hope to see him in more stuff
I have Listened to every Harland Highway episode since it started live on 103.5 the Fox years ago and I really enjoy the episodes that Harland does the show on his own. So I figure I'll share my top five Fav guests so far. Nick Swardson David Koechner Dane Cook Jeff Richards Orny Adams ASTA la Bistro cream baby. leave a 👍
employee of the month is still to this day my ultimate rewatch at anytime movie. The cast alone was phenomenal, Dane 10000000000000% made the right choice.
Hey Guy, Im only a few months old than Dane and I remember him doing a Comedy Central short back during the late 90’s- early 2000’s. And he was so skinny, crazy hair while he was in a black wife beater tank top…. And I thought that was so odd on stage but that set, made me think he had the legs to do stand up for years.
Found my new favorite podcast! If I had a dollar for every time I got my parents to drive me to blockbuster when I was a kid so I could rent RocketMan. Harland, you’re the man!
Dane is such a genuine guy, and S/O Harland for speaking truth to Danes hard work. Never seen Harland be that outspoken before and it was awesome that he showed that side of him to set the record straight about his friend.
Love u Harland ! Best podcast out there . Ryan and you was my fave . Great to see Dane again . Cool house he has too . Your special in the desert was my fav brother. ( love all ur Conan’s too!!!!)
Harland; without a doubt you are one of this century's best clowns, thanks so much for spreading mirth& Please try to engineer a Gary & Mike come back / Live action.
Love you Harland, love your podcast, and judging by the recent guests, love that it's taking off because you deserve it. You're a legend and a top-tier comedic brain guy. So thanks, and congrats, and good to see you making a splash. You know that's right.
Couldn't have said it better myself Harland Williams is the king of comedians that consistently crack me up everytime. 😂
I'm against comics taking time off. Down falls can create amazing comedy.
It should be illegal
Harland had quickly become one of my absolute favorite hosts and guests on podcasts. His style, vocabulary, tone, weirdness, and comedic timing is just too god damn funny.. Keep it up Harland, I'll be watching every time 🙌
Did you listen to the Harland episode of The Honey Dew? That one had me crying laughing
@@slipphilton6141 totally agree, it's how I'm here listening to this episode
@@slipphilton6141 you, me, and Ryan Sickler then. I think I watched preeeetty much all of them, and some even twice or more.
Not going to lie, employee of the month is one of my top five movies I can watch over and over. Doink, doink, turkeys done!!😂😂😂
Why would you ever lie about that? That's just dumb.
When they fire that popper in Andy Dicks face and he yells what the fuck because he’s blind and has no idea what even happened. I died laughing. Such a good movie!

You're a good man Harland. A true Canadian. I loved the podcast. I watched it here in Oakville, Ontario.
Seeing Harland genuinely stand up for Dane made me emotional. 2 down-to-earth human beings, hard to come by 🥰

I live for Jerry Lewis talk. You and Dane seem like the only comics that really understands or at least articulates his impact in comedy.

By far the best guest and interview yet. I really enjoyed this one. Thanks Harland!
Nobody can beat the episode with A-Z of farts with Nick Swardson, Guy!!
Dane's SNL story about walking through the door was really great. He explained it well, but I'm sure there is no way to describe that feeling.

Damn Harland turned down Half-Baked originally ? Guys scenes are some of the best comedy in a stoner mover ever made. Glad he took the role.
