My favourite film of the year is Young Woman and the Sea. I enjoyed every moment of it, a really interesting true story (of someone I hadn't heard of until I saw this) and a very good performance from Daisy Ridley.
Weirdly, I loathed it. Caricature performances with no one acting like a real person at all. I liked the story and the way it was put together, but I thought the acting was awful.
