That's absolutely awesome! Ads won't be included in listings within the Rank Checker because ads have their own separate algorithm.

I have a listing that was performing well. It became a best seller. But they haven’t shown Etsy ads as much as before. I texted Etsy help and they said it should refresh title and tags .. but I didn’t do it because I remember your advice. I duplicated the listing and changed key words in the new listing… let’s see how it works

Question : I made a sale on a product. The design did Not infringe on any trademarks. However, I learned later that you cannot list trademarked items in your title or tags (which mine had). I have updated the title to remove those words. Is that the correct thing to do?
Definitely. As long as the terms are removed and the item itself doesn't infringe, you should be fine now!
Hi, Starla I placed a promotional code without an expiration date. I go to the details to finish it. I find nothing but this discount applies to your entire store.
I get these and the you need to verify your payment account or email account every three times I load a new product. It was every time but now it has slowed down a little since I have made a few sales.

There's really no way for me to answer this question. You'll need to spend time determining your target audience and gauging demand for your exact designs.
Although his short webinar is free, isn't his advice to make several listings for the same item, but under different verbiage, against Etsy rules? I can tell you who it is, if you want to know. I thought he had stopped professing this, but he is out there again. If more people are doing the multi listing, aren't shoppers going to get frustrated seeing the same repeated items instead of different ones to look at, and shop owners finding it harder to get their own items seen, unless they also use the same listing practice? I find it confusing when looking for jewelry findings supplies, thinking I am comparing different shops' offers & sizes, realizing they are the same things from the same shops. I feel this is an unfair practice, which may drive away customers in the long run.
You actually CAN list the same item within the same shop, which is something I recommend for A/B split testing of different thumbnails or keywords. But I don't recommend doing it for the sake of doubling up ALL your listings. This can definitely be confusing for buyers.
Etsy does not allow you to list the same item across multiple shops. But you can list the same item within a single shop.
@@StarlaMooreBut a dozen times or more for the same item? It is confusing & frustrating! Etsy earns more money in the outright as more listing fees, but in the long run, customers may eventually give up after having to slog through too many of the same listings from many different shops, unable to see the different things on the farther back pages . What do you think? Would Etsy consider the policy of one listing per item, no matter how many different titles given it?

As per now, I have 33 listings, and started selling on ETSY about two months ago. Not a single sale as of now. How long should I allow to know that should change things up?

Hmmm.... the only thing I could recommend is contacting Etsy. But I dare say you'd need to be able to prove that this is happening in order for them to take any major action, which stinks.
I live outside the US but my target market is US and using US based POD supplier, if I set my store location to my home country would it be a problem?
Unfortunately you'll need to select your home county, as this is where your actual business is located. For legal/tax purposes, you must select your country for your shop location.
I think the localisation filter works from your 'ships from' info. I was browsing shirts the other day and wanted something from Australia (so it was local), and there was one I liked, so I clicked to look - yep, 'ships from Australia'. But when I looked at their location on their storefront, it said they were in Germany. So if they were able to get into the 'shop location' filter that way, Etsy's likely not using the storefront location info for anything that would cause a visibility problem.
I'm always amazed at how people get scammed. If the person that scammed you had come to your door with the same offer, you'd probably slam the door in their face. For some reason though, being online somehow makes it more legit. Bonkers.
I think it's a little hard when sellers are desperate for any advantage they can find. And the scammers know this.

I wish I knew this before I got scammed. There is a seller on Etsy with a digital product called 'how to rank page 1 on Etsy'. I bought it for a few dollars and and got suckered into buying her 3k course :( she is still on there sucking thousands of people in. She is now selling it as an MRR so is flooding Etsy with the same rubbish and scamming even more people. Why does Etsy allow this? :/
Technically, you cannot sell services on Etsy. She's likely skirting around the rules by providing a download of sorts that would qualify her as a "digital seller". This is pretty common though. What you purchased was basically entry into her sales funnel. I would have definitely contacted Etsy about this purchase.
