The pyromane is kind of disappointing for me, mostly because it is a remodel of the shadowmane, AND it’s for money. Besides that I think they executed the center pretty well!
Eeeh it's new abilities are enough. I'm more concerned about the monetization tactics used. After all, the tropeo was the same thing but with the tapejara 🤷♂️
Honestly its pretty good and you dont HAVE to buy it, like you said its a shadowmane reskin with new abilities so you dont have to necessarily buy it, plus its only 5 USD so its not like its 20$ for a single creature. Honestly shasta is kinda dissapointing to me cuz it could have been done so much better, like the tek saddle fixed and a regular saddle added

@iNeurotiic exactly, fenrir was just a reskinned dire wolf and nobody compained about it despite it being op, but as soon as something is 5$ its a big deal

Honestly i was kinda hoping more for shasta, i mean it looks really good its abilities on its own looks good, but the saddle is the biggest let down i kinda thought it was gonna be bigger and more space for an real base in it, it is possible now but its gonna be reallly tight, also the Tek Replicator requirement is the biggest let down out of all, like Materials are really good for it but just the Replicator(Especially beacuse i mostly stop playing after doing bosses). Atleast we got something Fresh
I unfortunately probably won’t use it because of the replicator requirement just because I leave once I beat the boss

Thx so much for your Honestly Opinion, I like it now because it’s new and I like whale like creatures, but in terms of actual use in the game, it’s not got many things going for it

I think the Shasta is yet another trophy tame. Im sure PvPers will think it's brilliant, but it servers no purpose. It's too much hassle, or no reward.
As a PvP player with almost 10k hrs. I can say that even in PvP this dino will be useless cuz it's really slow and doesn't really have any way of defending itself if attacked. people are just gonna throw a giga at it and a giga with 255 melee can kill it before it can even run away. If it's near land then people are just gonna snipe it to death. It's not even gonna be useful in raiding underwater bases cuz turrets can destroy rockets before they can hit. I am gonna be honest here in all of hrs of PvP i have never seen anyone use water dinos that much people literally just use stegos or rock golems underwater to sock turrets. The only water dino i have mostly seen people use is Mosa cuz it's basically an underwater giga.

It’s weird I feel like the only creature voted creature I’m even a bit satisfied with is the fasalo even then it has one of the most frustrating taming methods in the game atleast it looks and feels cool and does what was purposed

While a cool creature, I believe the Shas is ultimately a disappointing addition because there simply isn’t enough utility for it. It’s basically useless in a single player world imo, by the time I get to tek replicators I’m already done with my need for materials I’d find under the water. The ocean is perhaps the most unloved area of Ark ever, there are so few in any reasons to go there. Arks oceans have always been massively disappointing, they don’t feel dangerous they feel empty and void.

A creature that big SHOULD be able to perma-stun a smaller creature but the devs decided that would be too OP
Pretty sure its bigger than a leed and Mosa. 2nd biggest creature and is useless
They should add rocket boosters or like boat propellers to the sides of the Shasta saddle so you can move faster since movement speed isn't a thing in ASA 🤔

Tamed my first Shasta 2 1/2 hours ago... Now I got to build a 500- 900 square pen cause of freaking megalodons and quite possibly piranhas

shubabuba i feel like the shasta is kinda balanced *in terms of progression* cuz it is actually strong for how late you get it. so overall i like it its a cool creature but its hard to get ergo balanced. (yes ik that had so many grammar errors) but your overview was very entertaining
