Thanks for the review very useful to hear the amp a little more naturally than other videos sometimes have! Let's us know how it sounds in person 🙂 These seem great value for the money, i had a little Bugera Bc15 that didn't have such a great drive setting but the clean all tube change was incredible for it's little size
i have a V55 combo and a hot rod deluxe 3, they are so close, and i am not exagerating the bugera is better in clean mode with pedals and effects than the fender one.. v55 has 6L6 , but v22 has EL84.
With anyone wanting or using this amp, its a harsh bright amp but replace the valves with JJs but put a 5751 in v1 (this takes the fizz out of the drive and makes it usable) and change the speaker to something like a Cannabis Rex or something with a smoother top end and you got a really good sounding amp :). Also I found the best setting is leaving the Master on 8 and set your levels from each channel. Set bass@7 mids and treb@3 and presence at 5 :)
Edit: so after messing more with the amp I actually prefer the individual channels as high as they can go in ballanced and the master to adjust your volume 👌🏼.
Thanks for the review bud. I'm going to buy this amps baby brother for recording. I need an amp I can push harder without being so loud. I like the value of the 22. I will probably get one as a backup if and when I get back to playing venues again. I thought you did an excellent demo. I appreciate it very much.

What's a decent guitar cost? I have some $200 specials that sound really good with this amp. It's not about how much your guitar cost or what name is on the headstock, it's how you play it.
My main guitar is a Squier 50s Classic Vibe Strat with a 100% stock loaded Squier Bullet Strat pickguard. Ceramic pickups, dime pots and cheap selector switch. Stock output jack crapped out and was replaced with a MojoTone multi-contact jack. Other than that, all stock. I get compliments on the tones I've been getting from it through a Katana 50, and people usually don't believe me when I tell them what's in the guitar. More expensive doesn't always mean better, and if you don't like something about it, just change it and make some tweaks. Always works out for me, and I've received some real dogs.
The truth is no one can tell the difference between a $200 guitar and a $10,000 guitar on a recording or almost any other situation. You can tell if it's a Strat or Les Paul but that's about it.
blackstar debut50r VS Bugera V22...Which one is better clean tone ?

It's interesting, mine sounds fairly different! A bit less mid heavy on mine. It's a perfect pedal amp for me!

They are nice amps.
If something goes wrong or not it can easily be used as a speaker cab for a head. Don't throw it out!
