My dad's van had a built in movie player but the only movies I can remember having were the 2000s classics, Grown Ups, Big Daddy, and Paul Blair. Every other weekend when I went to my dads house and then the entire weekend running errands, it was filled with the 2000s movies.
One of my favorite things about growing up is learning to appreciate the cinematography of films and understand what a good plot really is. I was so naive and though everything was a masterpiece as a child.

The Original Paul Blart: Mall Cop is nothing short of a cinematic marvel. It's heart warming, with non-stop action. Not to mention it has Kevin "King of Queens" James as the motherfucking protagonist.
It's the Die Hard for modern generations.
The Second one is dogshit, however. Except for the Piano-Swan scene.
i watch this movie at least once every few months. its become an at home screening tradition that is almost as powerful as watchign the room. we recite the lines, scream every time raini rodriguez is in screen (yes, fiesta baila is a common shout) and throw stuff towards the tv (lollipops during the diabetes scenes) and its so bad its fun
I legitimately love this movie. I did and still do find it extremely funny and engaging. To each their own.
