I actually worked at a place like this idea, we had 2 restaurants. 100% operated by people with disabilities, some with more manageable ones, and some who really had a tough time. It was my first job, and taught me a lot of things, 4 years later I'm running a small business.
I think there is a lot to be said about the mindset you have going into a crowdfunding campaign. Resilience, the willingness and ability to adapt, and an unwavering belief in the success of he project are super important. Half way through our campaign we had only raised about 6,000 out of 45,000. We decided to create a new video with some major changes and redoubled our campaigning efforts reaching out to schools to do presentations and radio shows that might get us some publicity. Its possible to come back!
Thanks for sharing your incredible ideas! It's really helps to find ideas to fund our social project to reduce extreme poverty in our community in Timor-Leste that many bog international organizations have failled to do so. The community members must become.the agent of their own development on the basis of their ideas and solidarity from people to people like we've learnt from you. Thanks
Will this crowd funding help individuals and families struggling or giving up just because they don't have the finance to achieve their dreams and goals? Will this crowd funding help those who can't pay their medical bills?
That was amazing, there is a company which has its own ecosystem. It is a combination of google, paypay, facebook, youtube, amazon, ICO, crowdfunding and foreign exchange, has no employees, everything is being outsourced.
But isn't there a risk of someone copying your idea? Sure, you could apply for patents. But, it is impractical to pay for patents in ALL countries. So what if someone who lives in a country which you do not have protection from copies your idea?
I think that every idea can be copied as much as you try to put it save. The most important is the people who are behind the idea and how they do the things. The difference is you.
Just trust that you are who you are and there are certain things that you can change and others you can't. Accept and love yourself for who you and you will never have to worry about your "miserable" condition. Hugs!
I struggle with the same question, and perhaps we are coming from a similar place... Look, the pain of rejection and mockery is real. Personally, I look admirably and respectfully upon those who attempt something moral that is unusual, uncertain, or difficult - irrespective of whether success is a reality or not. However, unfortunately, there are malevolent and tortured individuals among us who look upon their fellow humans and risk-takers judgementally as lower beings than themselves. These individuals are to be pitied rather than hated. And, despite how insecure one feels, one must not lower themselves to the level of the harshly judgemental who simply wish for everyone around them to fail simply because the failures of their "friends" make their own failures feel less weighty. Choose your friends very cautiously indeed, and do not hesitate to walk away from those who pose as "friends", yet distinguish themselves as enemies or, yet more subtly, distinguish themselves as genuine friends and yet reside within toxic social circles and/or dynamics lest to their own awareness. The masks people wear can be very deceiving and subtle indeed and, regularly, unconscious. Encouragingly, there is no doubt: many numbers of wonderful, honest, and nurturing individuals exist in the world today - individuals who will relish and celebrate your efforts to grow and progress; individuals who will lay their lives down for justice: these are the individuals to focus on. Find them: love them, nurture them, and they'll love and respect you in return. People will unavoidably misunderstand you, ridicule you, and hate you. But, that's OK, because the remainder of us will understand you, celebrate you, and admire you. And, besides... we all come from the same place, anyway...and we're all headed for the same other place... Much love and respect.
I have decided to start a gofundmepage for my neighbourhood. There is no water or electricity. No infrastructure. The road is realy bad. The only way to currently get their takes about 2hrs. There is an additional short road to the project bus it has to be made. Incuding a small bridge over the stream. It would be a great help to me and the community if we could get donations to fix the short road and install sollar panesl for electricity. Come to find I'm not a us citizen and cant create an account. Is there an other way I can get this started? Help needed..
your neighborhood is being neglected because it's probably in a poor county and there are not enough taxes being generated to pay for infrastructure study the land use/ zoning laws in your county and perhaps you can attract investors to develop the land and infrastructure for a real estate deal
