    I can’t stop thanking Rupert for this kind of lectures. This particular one is like the “Sermon on the Mount” of Rupert’s Gospel.

    I think more love would be expressed if we human beings communicated through telepathy. :). Remember, the tongue has two fences to contain it. The one fence is the teeth the second fence is the lips!

    In Summary, The point that Rupert is getting to is;
    “There’s a limit to what we can perceive, but there’s no limit to what we can conceive”...A Course in Miracles (Original Edition)
    “Complete unconsciousness is IMPOSSIBLE”...A Course in Miracles

    The questioner who asked about Iam said whe I try to remove the I am from experience! Who is the I trying to remove the I am? Are there multiple I's? If you were to remove I at all, you reach the Supreme unmanifested Brahman.

    If God's being is shining on all experiences how do we reconcile the experience of wars, genocide, starvation etc. going on since the beginning of human history? What is the purpose of the infinite reduce itself to lower grade of evolution and gets itself awaken ? Does it make sense at all ? Can anyone explain this?

    • @sajafendel
      @sajafendel 2 роки тому +2

      Hi Elias,
      Let me see if I can provide some provisional explanation for you.
      The one whole consciousness is pure infinite potentiality. We could say, it is everything possible all at once. Right? However, because it is everything possible all at once, it has no experience.
      Imagine having multiple viewpoints of the same object. 2 points of view would look burry. 5 points of view even blurrier. 20 points of view you could no longer distinguish anything. All possible points of view would look like a black image of nothing.
      So going back to consciousness, if it is to have the experience of anything, it must have the experience of everything, from individual, limited points of view. It couldn't just have the experience of 1 thing. 3 things, 10 things. 1000 things. It must experience everything, from what seems like "one" point of view.
      These points of view are our finite minds. Now in compensation for having experience, everything possible must come into experience. - Including the misunderstanding of what we are, which leads us to do things in the belief we are separate, our ideas of what is "good" and "bad", which ends up making the limited body-mind organism act and behave in accordance to the belief it is separate, All this reflects in our experience as suffering, and in a convoluted and mistaken attempt to irradicate our suffering, which we could also say is a convoluted and mistaken attempt to recognise our true nature, we start looking in the wrong direction, causing wars.
      We could say provisionally that the one limit the unlimited had was that it had nothing to limit it. So in limiting itself, experience came, along with mistaking itself for the experience rather than the experiencer. Or in Rupert's analogy, the movie rather than the screen. That 'mistaking' is the gap in which all behaviour coming from a separation is born, which is why there are wars and suffering.
      I really do understand the deep passion and confusion that can be felt in a question like this, and I hope I could provide some clarity. Keep well friend!
