I mean, I have just my (now 24y/o) MR2 Spyder, which is a rather reliable car, yet it still costs an arm and leg to keep that in good condition. New sport tires, new oxygen sensors, hell even a stock injector costs an arm and leg. And that´s long since there was a great demand for them. If I had to modify that car like some crazy Japanese tuners, I´d probably have to spend my entire wage of several years.
