THANK YOU, I'm standing at new deal myself and have been searching for a comparison guide for a few days, kept putting it off until now and then the algorithm blessed me. Solid stuff, keep it up :)
Thank you so much! I’m so glad it was helpful :-) if you think you might know others who might enjoy it I would be grateful if you shared my channel with them :-) thanks again and fly safe! Or in this case, drive safe :-)
the RN actually has a functional sensor array and can detect ships and highlight them in the distance , it may be the best way to located ballistas and centurions with their low signatures
Good comparison of the Cyclones. One thing you didn't mention is that the AA has an EMP (TroMag like on a Hawk but slightly less powerful). When I started with SC I had no idea why there would be 6 of the same vehicle, it takes a while to learn the differences and videos like this help.
There are also Flares and Noises, that's why it's classified as support. Not sure if it could work right now but I assume you will stay in the pack to protect it from incoming missiles.
Unless I'm mistaken, I believe that the base Cyclone is listed as being heavier in case the player purchases 1 SCU of something that is heavy, dense or both
Interesting. There is space back there for what looks like 1 scu, so could be interesting. But that shouldn't be factored into the actual weight of the vehicle, unless it comes with a container.
I was looking at this as a replacement for my ROC, to carry in the back of a cutlass. Just getting to and from bunkers, but i need the cargo space that the ROC has, so I can loot while at the bunker. Looks like none of these have that internal storage. The looks like i may be able to fit a persistant SCU box in there, but (like you said) it might fall out. No internal storage? You sure?
Love comparison-videos like this! I bought the MT with LTI, but have since upgraded it to an Eclipse....kind of want another Tumbril after watching this 😄
Hehe yeah I remember those! I bought a couple to use as LTI tokens for selling CCUd ships to folks who missed the sales ;) and a few for myself. They are a lot of fun to rip around in :D I bought the whole lot for this video 😀
the RC is cool for the speed, and the original is great if you want to carry a lot of guns from a bunker or something, but i like the RN the best, it's a good balance of speed and control, the original just jumps all over the place so i only use it if i need to stock some guns.
In the future, I'm hoping that we'll be able to mod the cyclones to add custom horns. Personally I'd love to install the horn of the General Lee to blast whenever I start an epic jump with it.
Hah that'd be awesome. Would be nice to see some painting as well, to really customize our rides. With the amount of money CIG is making selling overpriced skins and paints though, I highly doubt we will be seeing that anytime soon.
Great question. I can’t say I’ve tried this yet but I can’t see it being an issue since these weapons are fairly small. So, even the energy weapons shouldn’t be too demanding in terms of power and cooling. Worth a try!
Great video dude! The RC is my personal fav for driving to bunkers, MT is favorite overall because it just looks so badass! Also, you ever watch Subliminal? In my opinion, you and him are the only 2 youtubers putting out quality Star Citizen content. All the rest is just Hyperbole. Down 2 Earth Astronomy is very good, too. The 3 of you would make an awesome collaboration. My channel is just game footage, for the most part, but I make some guides soon ✌🙏 o7
Hey man! Thanks very much. I appreciate you watching and taking the time to write a comment. Yeah I used to watch a LOT of his stuff, but I am not as much of a stat nerd, I just like doing dumb things in the open world :P So for me those numbers are not as important. Nevertheless I enjoy the effort he puts in. And very much appreciate the compliment :) I used to play a lot of Elite and so, I was exposed a lot to DTEA, he's also pretty great and has been at it for a very long time. I can only aspire to some day come close to both of those guys' success. One day, maybe :)

@@SSPGaming Definitely will, I enjoyed perusing your back catalog :)

Did not know that! Thank you!

That's interesting. I had no idea! Thanks for bringing it up :)
Yeah, you forgot to mention the EMT. In addition, the original Cyclone was fixed to secure box missions which makes it useful.

@@SSPGaming , I'm thinking that the listed weight might be gross weight when fully loaded.
The original Cyclone does fit a 1 scu box in the back and it will stick there.
Thought so but wasn’t sure. Cool, thanks!
I read somewhere it can fit a 2 scu box too, but haven't verified.
Would be nice if we could just buy these at a shop, or even better have them included as accessories with the purchase of the vehicle.
@@SSPGaming Agreed!

Turns out a 1 scu box will fit in there. But pretty sure no internal storage like ships have.

mt transportation and racing is best i guess
Can you put lasers on the TR instead of the Gatling?
As long as they're the same size I don't see why not :)
I tried in 3.17 and it didn't fire no matter what I did. Idk if it's a bug or intended. I'll try again this patch 3.19
@@nerfherder48 I ended up testing and it worked fine.

Can you put laser weaponry on the turrets? Or is there something to do with the cooling/power that means they can't be used?

You missed the EMP on the AA variant.
Thank you :)
Can they fit the scu boxes?
One of them can I believe. The one that’s got the big opening in the back. Can’t think of the name just now.
