DSNY Crane Carrier w/ Heil Split Tail Gate Rear Loader 1993 (25BS-001)

NYC Sanitation doing a demo of a prototype Heil Split Tailgate Rear Load Collection Truck (Crane Carrier chassis). This was the start of the famous DSNY split body recycle trucks. In the video they take the truck on standard garbage collection, it was realized that the split body was not suited for regular trash collection but much more suited for dual stream recycling.
