    Always wondered why people don't DIY larger candles. Replicating a $15 Yankee Candle in a Mason jar simply isn't worth it. But, spend $15 on a goodwill ceramic or glass vase, some wicks, some beeswax, and some essential oils and you can save $435 on this $450 candle in name brand markups alone. People even sell used candle jars on ebay if you want the name brand. Nobody will EVER know. It only takes one person like an hour to make, and most of that is waiting on the stove to heat/cool. Then, you just glue the wick down and pour the wax. That is literally all there is to it.

      You asked this question 8 years ago. Well I think it’s glazing that’s being coated inside and out and then baked to bring out the shine in glaze.
