My blisters usually form just behind the toes where you didn’t put any tape. 😀

way too much product and work for me! I just use patch size fabric bandages in all blister prone spots, and then I wrap my entire foot, heel and ankle in the self sticking tensor bandage (not too tight) then I wear 1-2 pairs of socks (depending on type of footwear).

This was my first thought, so much of the product. What if one needs to do it every day for multiple weeks?

    Hi there.
The white tape he is using is called hypoallergenic tape or surgical tape. It has holes on its surface and the adhesive allows the skin to breathe properly, thus avoiding skin irritation. I have recently bought it off Amazon for less than £2.
The brown tape looks like regular elastic tape. It should hold in place the hypoallergenic one and take over the wear of your foot against your socks, being thicker and denser.

Man, could you imagine having to do this on a two week backpacking trip... a pain, that prevents a pain.

EXTRA SOCKS WORKS!!!!!!. In an emergency grab a soft plastic bag . Slip it flat with both sides of the bag in contact. More layers = slipping of MATERIALS against each other and not the skin.

James Montgomery I'll try that for boxing. I remember using 2 layers of sock on each foot think it worked.

Zinc oxide tape refers to the adhesive - note as it can come in different thickness and application use. The adhesive contains the oxide which in turn helps the tissue heal faster than it would with normal dressings.
I am not trained in this field, so I urge you to seek counsel at your physician or pharmacist if in doubt.
    Best of luck,
    Stefan

I've been playing sports my entire life. All this prep for blisters is nonsense. If you're going to be physically active you need some level of callussing and maybe blistering to know where your tender spots are, and so that your body can adapt.
If you anticipate your entire foot becoming one gigantic blister might I suggest wearing proper fitting shoes and two pairs of wool socks. IF you do this the only blistering you will get is perhaps from your toes rubbing each other. You can tape up the toes that rub and they even have socks with toes for that.

Can't say I ever got blisters playing sport. The context of this video is Oxfam Trailwalker, where people walk up to 100km of challenging terrain within 40hrs. It's also in late summer / early autumn weather in Australia which is likely ~30ºC
Good luck walking ~20hrs in 2 days without tape, even if you are physically active and have some calluses that's a recipe for debilitating blisters and possible tearing+infection

We just did a 50 km hike and taped our feet following the instructions here and we didn't have any blisters on our foot. My wife had blisters on the top of two toes... but we don't have a clue how to prevent is.
    Thank you!

I bet you didn't have a blister. Your whole foot was bandaged up.

I do Tae Kwon Do, whenever i tape my feet, i go around in circles, but it always end up coming off from all the bouncing and starts and stops, anny ideas? The blisters are worse on the balls of my feet and are debilitating
