My EcoFlow 2 and add-on battery just came in the mail today. It works really good and was way easier to set up than I thought it would be. Portable ice cold A/C is great in Florida.
But the battery can't be charged without being connected to the unit so I fail to see the use of it
@@sages101 Charge it from home and then take the battery with you when you're camping. And if you live outside, connect the unit and battery to solar panels so that the power can be stored and used at nighttime.
@@TylerDaSilva522 I live in my camper. Unfortunately, we don't get enough sun to be able to charge it, reliably. 😪

Can the unit circulate air without running the compressor? For example if it is cooler outside than inside, I'd like to exchange that air while staying power efficient and not running the compressor.
Why do you have to use the inlet hose for air while indoors? Couldn’t you leave the inlet hose off and just recirculate the indoor air?
That’s what I do. Keep in mind that if you’re blowing air outside and not bringing air in from outside, you’ll get an air pressure imbalance in the room.
Can I use it without battery?
To connect staight to 12v battery power?
Does the wave 2 app have a built-in timer to set it to come on and go off at a certain time?
How long does that battery take to charge from 0-100%? I know their other batteries charge crazy quick.
Hi there. It’ll take about an hour to recharge Wave 2 to 60 percent and two hours to fully charge it via a wall socket. It can also be charged with your car’s outlet, a power station, or solar panels.
Can I connect the xt150 port to my RV house lithium 12v batteries?
Hello! Not through xt150 but through car charging socket you can charge WAVE 2 with car charging input - 12V/24V⎓8A, 200W max. To enable charging, please ensure that WAVE 2 is connected to add-on WAVE 2 battery as WAVE 2 charging is only possible with the add-on WAVE 2 battery.
How last long to use it ?
Can it be used from AC without the battery? Can you power it with DC using something other than the Wave 2 battery?
Hi Jason. You can run WAVE 2 without the add-on battery using standard AC wall outlet or even with EcoFlow DELTA 2, DELTA Max or DELTA Pro power stations as DC power source. But the important thing to note is that you can not charge WAVE 2 without the add-on battery as WAVE 2 has no other built-in battery. With the add-on battery, you can charge WAVE 2 from wall outlet, car charger, solar panel or power station. Please just make sure that the solar panel or the power station meets the required specifications. Hope this helps!

I have 2 Delta 2 power stations and one extra Delta 2 smart battery…
Can I run the Wave 2 a/c or heater by plugging it into one of the 120 volt outlets?

It lasted by barely 5 hours AND to charge this battery, This is NOT good for mobile off grid use!!! Just my experience…..
