Thank you so much for sharing your video diary, which is an outstanding contribution to the history and culture of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. In time it will be appreciated as an important piece of social cinema photography.
Thanks for the link to this Jake. It's fantastic. Apart from Project SIARC I run a kids outdoor activity session based on the beach at Coppet Hall, this film has given us so much inspiration for several session! Thank you. Helen
Your diary gives a good impression of the Pembroke shire coast path. My partner and I walked the complete South west coast path from minehead to pool (630 miles) in 55 days at spring 2010. I really enjoyed watching your movie. It brings up a lot of memories. Thanks a lot and keep on walking. Terence & Annet from Holland
Hello.🙂 Greetings from the Philippines. Thank you for sharing your nice video. Such a beautiful and very relaxing place. The views are stunning. Have a great day.
Good going Clive. I'm late to this one but better late than never. I enjoyed your commentary, which was full of local knowledge. It was nice to hear you returning to the place in which you grew. And to have the family involved topped that special feeling off. You had a few good camps and hey you're allowed some R&R also. Loving that seal. All the best. Mark
I just stumbled across your film and I loved it all. I'm 48 and I walked the path when I was 14 with my mate who was 15, our parents were pretty cool to let us do this without any adults to help. Your video has inspired me to get myself fit again and I plan to walk the path again. I think I may do it in stages though and not in one go like I did as a kid, hats off to you for walking the path in one go. Gary
Thanks, Gary. Glad you enjoyed the film and thanks for your kind comments. Hope you manage the coast path again soon. I will be moving back to Pembrokeshire at the end of 2017 so might wee you en-route.
Hello clive, fab clip of your marvellous journey loved every minute of it, I love visiting the Pembrokeshire Coast yearly. Your video diary is a treat! Would love to also hike around the coastal path one day. Thanks again :)
Many thanks, Harbinder, glad you enjoyed the film and that you get to enjoy Pembrokeshire, too. I'll be moving back to Pembrokeshire at the end of 2017 - perhaps see you on the path.
That sure looked like an epic hike! I think i'm falling in love with Wales. Now I just have to convince my girlfriend.. I'll let her watch this diary to start with. Thx for posting this!
Thanks! lovely and esp. since last year, did much of the same path; from about Abercastle to Fishguard, so idyllic and the weather was glorious, hot even!
Thank you everyone for your comments. I shall try to address a few here. Gary Kirkham - on the whole, yes, the path is easy to follow and is well signed. You can't really go wrong by simply keeping the sea on your left (going from south to north). The only navigation problems were in the towns (Pembroke Dock, and Tenby), where the signage was not great. SeifertBoys - mountain biking would be very awkward as there are many stiles to negotiate, furthermore, it is a footpath, rather than a cycle path.
Hello Clive. What a fantastic video diary of your adventures... great viewing. Is the path easy to follow? Are there enough waymarked signs along the path to stop you getting lost? Any advise would be appreciated as id like to do the trail next year. Cheers Gary
not really. And havn t done it yet either. The tourism office provides plenty of lodging opportunities on request, but I don t think so many people do or ask about biking it. Thinking about it, take rainproof gear, have fun and go for it!!!!!! Please let me know about it! Thx
Hi there. Thanks for uploading. Very interesting. Do you think one could bike (mountainbike) the trail? Is there steps or lots of rocky climbings? There don t seem to be a lot of people on the way, but do you know if it is allowed to bike it? Thanks! Stephanie
