This short video appears to be a very comprehensive and quick rendition of the T’ai Chi Qi Gong exercises that my excellent Sifu teaches. Although it is a little fast for my liking, all the elements appear to be present and of course individual students can vary their pace according to how one feels on the day. Sometimes when feeling full of energy I practise my long form T’ai Chi quickly and on other days much more slowly. Whilst long form T’ai Chi is a life’s work, I see the Qi Gong exercises as a wonderful combination of physical and mental flow that is always available, either as preparation for a long form session or simply as a stand-alone session for health and well-being.

An excellent and relaxing way to warm up the body before practising the Tai Chi full set

I love this, the way you move, your instruction, the garden, the birds… but it is too fast for my breathing rate and im not expert enough yet to do it just on my own. Id love a slower version that i could follow in real-time.

Just popping back to say I've been doing the faster version for the last three days and now I love it! Very different from the slower way that I have been doing until now to help me with long covid, and never thought I would manage this faster version, but by adapting and dont some of the movements seated instead I can manage it and I feel so invigorated and calm afterwards which is a combination not often achieved with LC. Thank you very much for this video :-) xxx
