@RideWithAnthony def not, because I've been doing relay before saturation where I could book hours easily but now it's difficult. The only thing that will stop saturation is more strict background checks

First of all they gotta ban and abolish mopeds completely since many of them cant respect laws which puts us on a bad spot . Im anti moped and really boils to my blood when im trying to work out there. They are using fake social security for doordash and other accounts that doesn’t require your picture to be taken. Idk how they bypass ubereats. Think about it, they are working 16 hours a day. Let’s see they make 60-70k a year. Who’s paying taxes on that? The person who loaned them their accounts? It doesn’t add up

HOW ABOUT GETTING THIS PEOPLE OUT OF HERE DEPORTATION NOT RELOCATION. THESE HOODS AND DELIQUENTS DOING HERE WHAT THEY DID BACK HOME. THEY ARE MENACE. WHY IS THIS BEING ALLOWED. SHERE ARE THE LAWS?
Good question! Also, where are they getting the money to buy them. I have seen many mopeds from NY in NJ. They are all doing deliveries. How were they able to get a license plate for mopeds, if they are migrants? Are these people paying for stolen identities? I deliver for Uber eats, GrubHub, Instacart and others, I had to pass a background check etc…I am all for the hustle, but not in an illegal manner. This is a disadvantage for us that are doing this legally.
Just like motorcycles and electric kick scooters, there's always going to be the people who make the other people look bad because they're not driving responsible. I've been riding an electric Kick Scooter for 3 years as my only Transportation now with a total of around 50,000 miles LOL I never have any issues. But I also don't split lanes and I drive like a car and wait in line like everyone else and don't drive like a sports bike driver
Waa going up 1st ave in the east village today. mopeds and e-bikes swerving in and out of bike lanes, trailing you within inches waiting to go around you with no bell, horn, etc. and going in the wrong direction. You need to constantly look in all directions in bike lanes and even if you are just a pedestrian on sidewalks. I find it safer to just go in the street and deal with taxicabs sometimes if your escooter can keep up with the cars. Not to mention the pedestrians that act like the bike lane is the sidewalk and don't bother looking when on it or crossing. One trend I notice is the Citibike with electric pedal assist. Young cats like to go into daredevil mode on these. I have been clocking them at what seems to be a peak speed of 25 m.p.h. from the speedometer of my phantom. I saw a dude weaving traffic with his friends on one and took a very mean spill on the Chelsea bike path. Gotta do a video on the citibike crazies because they can be a hazard as much as the mopeds since citibike used to be synonymous with clunky and slow. Ride safe.
Mopeds are a huge problem in NYC, many of the people operating these are dangerous idiots that are ignorant of their surroundings and cause many of the accidents in the city that are being blamed on scooters and e-bikes because people and the media keep conflating mopeds as e-bikes.
Most of them are just running rampant doing dumb sh*t and most of them are migrants that think it's okay to utilize these mopeds for the wrongdoings. They want to work, they gotta do it the legal way. Other than that, they all gotta go.
@RideWithAnthony these fly e bikes are everywhere now like cannibis shops opening up every other week. they have their connections and I'm sure some are stolen.
