- Let's get a little abstracted.
I love painting flowers, but sometimes they get a little too complicated. So, in today's painting my goal was to really simplify. I used a california poppy as loose inspiration for the color and the flower shape. Keeping this more of a monochromatic-ish painting also makes this fun! Paintings like these I feel would be great filler for a gallery wall. Just paint them in the color scheme that is a good fit for your home!
In this video I used Stonehenge's 100% cotton cold pressed watercolor paper. To paint it I used my size 4 quill brush, Unicorn Food Watercolors, my Unicorn $ handmade watercolor, and a fine liner brush.

Also, what a great demo of a super even wash of color! 😍
Such a good skill to have and practice on occasion 😍
With the right frame window this will look AMAZING!
Very pretty and the sparkly gold is wow! 🌟
Stunning! I love the simplicity of it. And shiny gold makes everything amazing!❤
Unicorn $ is one of my favorite colors! 😍

Beautiful! TYFS! ❤
Thanks for watching 😊
Lady, I am saving all your watercolor designs to recreate
I hope you enjoy them when you do paint them ☺️
Love this and just finished off my day by trying it! Thank you!
How'd it go!? I hope you loved the process!
@@RebelUnicornCrafts it went well and was fun!! I had only gold watercolor which was fine but not as precise as pen. So of course I had to get some pens! The orange over yellow is lovely and then the yellow peaking through with gold accents is so simple but striking! Your sense of play and fun helps make this accessible and then I feel like I can try anything!
I’m excited about your book, and I have been trying so much of what you post! Thank you so much!
So proud of you!! It sounds beautiful!
